1x1 - Episode 1

October 3, 2004

The story is about three sisters, YIP CHING, YIP KIU and YIP YAN, who study at the Greenwood International School. The sisters met a Gypsy girl who foresaw that CHING’s true love is a boy who has a four-leafed clover birthmark. Soon the girls have grown. They all attracted many boys in the school. CHING has long forgotten what the Gypsy girl had said. However, KIU and YAN feel nervous about the fortune telling and look out for the described boy. After some investigations, they suspect that the cheerful beach volleyball team captain YUE YAT SUN or a cold, mysterious and bad student NIC FONG might be the one. Who is CHING’s true love?

1x2 - Episode 2

October 10, 2004

After KIU and YAN see the four-leafed clover birthmark on SUN, YAN tells CHING about it. YAN suggests CHING to join the beach volleyball team in order to approach SUN. CHING tries to get away, but KIU persuades her for another reason. When they are practising on the beach, they see SUN being harassed by some girls. YAN thinks of a plan to make SUN invite them to join the team. Although CHING feels that they have cheated SUN, they become the members of the beach volleyball team anyway. They meet the other team members during the training and notice that many girls join the team for the same reason – to pursue SUN. SUKI and EUGENIA are the most aggressive ones. On one hand, SUN has to train new members. On the other hand, he has to deal with MON MON and her love affairs.

NIC feels that he should quit studying and look for a job to share the burden of his mother, who is a poorly paid cleaning lady. On the contrary, SUN’s mother is a famous doctor, who is about to go abroad for a medical conference. Back at the school, CHING is allowed to join the beach volleyball team. KIT has seen KIU play before and invites her to join the team. However, She turns him down because she does not want the training to affect her work in the first aid team. KIT does not give up. He thinks of a way to move her. The school promotes a Cookie Day to encourage girls to make some cookies for the boys whom they like. The sisters work hard to make some cookies for CHING to give to SUN. CHING brings the cookies to meet SUN, but they miss each other. She is even chased by a dog and drops all the cookies.

1x4 - Episode 4

October 24, 2004

SUN and CHING are going to have their first date. CHING imagines it to be a candle-lit dinner with moonlight on the beach and wonders what they will do apart from holding hands? But the result disappoints her completely. SUN takes her to see a volleyball game only. Although disappointed at first, CHING is finally delighted when SUN gives her some surprises at the end of the date. The next day, SUN wins the game against his ultimate enemy 6’6’’ because of KIU’s hints. He wants to thank her, but CHING appears at the same time. KIU leaves them alone. The sisters are having split opinions over whether they should tell SUN the truth why CHING joins the beach volleyball team. KIU suggests that CHING should be honest and tells him the truth, but YAN thinks it is not the right time yet. In order to ease off the tension, YAN suggests to take a walk to buy some desserts. They see NIC fighting with two men on the way……

The YIP’s sisters are shocked to see NIC bearing a four-leafed clover birthmark. When they get home, CHING daydreams about how brave NIC was when he saved her. KIU and YAN, however, are both very bothered and try to think hard for new strategies. During the beach volleyball training the next day, the coach finds out how bad CHING plays and blames SUN for inviting her to join. SUN and the coach have a discussion and decide to let CHING to be the organizer of the team. The decision thrills both CHING and YAN. CHING tells SUN the truth afterward and begs for his forgiveness. SUN points out that honesty is the most important thing in friendship. CHING and SUN start dating. They also arrange KIU and KIT to join them for dinner. Although KIU shows up for the dinner, KIT understands that she does not love him. They have a talk and decide to just be friends. CHING, KIU and YAN witness a traffic accident on the way to school……

1x6 - Episode 6

November 7, 2004

The accident reveals the true personality of the rebellion NIC to the YIP’s sisters. When they see NIC being scolded by the coach for being late, they want to explain for him, but fail. At night, the sisters are bothered by whether CHING should stick with SUN or switch to NIC. They decide to make the decision only after CHING succeeds in inviting NIC to join the beach volleyball team. KIU and YAN’s love affairs start too. YAN meets LEUNG CHI PING again. She is delighted by his silly acts. PING is also happy to see YAN not looking down on him. KIU takes a love test at home to find out who matches her most. Whose name will she write down? SUN and KIT see NIC play volleyball really well after school. They want to invite him to join the beach volleyball team, but NIC turns them down and plays a joke on them. NIC’s mind wanders. He thinks about CHING a lot and falls down all the time. He bumps into CHING in a park.

1x7 - Episode 7

November 14, 2004

NIC and CHING bump into each other. When they have eye contact, CHING becomes very nervous. Her heart skips a beat when NIC walks closer towards her. NIC and CHING pass by each other. He turns back to praise CHING’s dancing. As he has started the conversation, CHING gathers enough courage to invite NIC to join the beach volleyball team. NIC hesitates. The training carries on as usual the next day. Suddenly, NIC appears and asks if he can join the team. However, the coach turns him down with a bad attitude. At last, the principal, some teachers, CHING, SUN and KIT support NIC, so the coach agrees to give him an entry test. NIC passes the test and joins the team. CHING is thrilled by the outcome. KIU covers it up for her in case SUN will get annoyed. CHING, KIU and SUN go to do voluntary work together. CHING feels sour when she sees NIC and a girl being very close together……

1x9 - Episode 9

November 28, 2004

KIU sees NIC and the girl being very close, so she thinks that they are lovers. When she learns the truth, she tells CHING all about it. CHING is not sure whether her true love is NIC or SUN. Her sisters leave the decision for her to make. Their mother overhears their conversation and gives CHING support. CHING’s mind opens up after talking to her mother and feels more relaxed. At school, CHING has a chat with NIC. He is delighted to talk to her and reveals his feelings to her. Their relationship develops speedily. SUN passes by the dancing room and thinks that KIU is practising inside, so he wants to get in to greet her. However, she is not there and he is dragged by the TWINS to see them dancing. Apparently, KIU is standing at the door and sees it all. She guesses that SUN comes to see her dance, which thrills her. HANG and MEI want to frame CHING again. They try to swap an infected computer disc with CHING’s homework……

1x10 - Episode 10

December 5, 2004

Because of HANG and MEI’s practical joke, all of the school computers in Hong Kong are infected with viruses. The principal orders HANG and MEI to leave the school. CHING, KIU and YAN negotiate with the principal to let HANG and MEI stay if they clean up the viruses. They thank the sisters for their help. There is a rumour that the school will cut staff. Every teacher suggests NAM to quit in order to save the others. NAM does so. However, the sports coach resigns first. NAM finds the coach to have a chat, which gives him a chance to make up with her. The interschool competition is coming. SUN, NIC, KIT, KIU and YAN train hard for it. KIT worries that his leading position is jeopardised by NIC. Meanwhile, SUN sports out KIU’s weakness and teaches her patiently. KIT knows how KIU feels about SUN and points it out to her, but she denies. NIC’s sister’s health is deteriorating……

1x11 - Episode 11

December 12, 2004

SUN and NIC have a mock game. NIC’s team leads at first, but SUN’s team manages to win the crucial set at last. When SUN is excited by the result, KIT suffers from the injury that he picks up from the last save he performs. They rush him to the hospital. KIT worries that he will never be able to play again, so KIU accompanies him the whole time. NIC leaves the beach sadly after losing the game. He does not realise that his sister MAN has been sent to the hospital half way through the match. NIC’s mother is desperate to locate NIC. She also worries a lot about MAN. CHING understands how NIC’s mother feels, so she calls YAN and asks her to find NIC. However, NIC is nowhere to be found. MAN finally lives after a series of resuscitation, which relieves everyone. NIC and his mother bring MAN home. SUN and his mother visit them and she suggests MAN to try a new drug……

KIU, YAN, NIC and SUN go to Australia representing Hong Kong to compete in the international school beach volleyball competition. CHING, the coach and a team of members join the trip. Although they feel nervous about the competition, they have an enjoyable holiday anyway.

1x13 - Episode 13

December 26, 2004

During the training, SUN notices that CHING has a crush on NIC, so he asks her how she feels about NIC directly. CHING is not sure about her own feelings and begs SUN to give her some time. SUN, NIC, CHING and KIU wander around on the street individually. SUN and KIU bump into each other while the same thing happens to NIC and CHING. At the end, they pair up to return to the hotel and create a huge embarrassment. NIC and SUN start to match each other’s style after days of training. However, CHING is in between them, which affects their spirit. They start the game terribly, which worries everyone. The coach scolds them harshly and orders them to concentrate on the competition. Will SUN and NIC put their conflict aside and keep up with the competition? Will they win the match? How will the love square between SUN, NIC, CHING and KIU resolve?
