Blessings continue to pour in for Erika as the Almedas officially welcome her to the family's medical business. Though hesitant, Erika gladly accepts the challenges bestowed upon her. Meanwhile, armed with her desire to win back Agatha, Adele finally decides to go to Manila. Upon learning of Adele's plan, Agatha immediately devises a scheme to get away from her estranged mother.

Agatha shows her appreciation for her friends. Erika is with her whole family during her baptism. As Erika and her family leave the chapel, a black van approaches them. The people in the black van were Fabian's goons who came to kidnap Erika. Rosemarie pleads with Fabian to let Erika go. Fabian is convinced by her plead and lets Erika go.

Debbie calls the police to conduct an investigation on who managed the kidnapping situation. Erika becomes anxious about the investigation about her case. As Carrie is headed to work, she catches a glimpse of who she thought was "Erika", but who was actually Agatha. The police, who are in charge of Erika's case, finds a house where Sancho de Leon lives.
