While he's in hospital he befriends a seriously ill young boy and helps him achieve his dream of becoming a police officer.

When budget cuts hit the Eastbridge PD, the majority of officers call in sick. This leaves the remaining officers to tackle a series of "push-in" robberies. Rachel goes to a her school reunion without Tony, but instead of going by herself she accepts the offer to attend with an old school beau.

Tony receives mysterious telephone calls from someone who can help solve a drug dealers murder. Rachel gets a good job offer that ultimately could mean a move to Buffalo.
