Plus, the programme catches up with two Newfoundlands that were rescued in a previous series.

At West Hatch Animal Centre in Taunton, kennel supervisor Sue Dicks asks a specialist trainer to put a Staffie through its paces to see if it has got what it takes to become a police dog.
