Four years later, Filippos returns to Athens, choosing an abandoned "train graveyard" as his place of refuge. The lives of Rafail, Thaleia, and Maritina have radically changed. Aravantinos learns something that puts Sylvia's plan in jeopardy. Filippos makes a deal with Iasonas that brings about Filippos' end.

While Filippos' life is in danger, Sylvia defends him in the first trial of the Razis case, involving his escape from the hospital. People from the past appear as witnesses to testify, while the evidence, presented by Sylvia, surprises Aravantinos, who assigns Sirhan to kill a key witness. Thaleia and Rafail receive an old case of organ trafficking. They realize that both cases share a common person.
