CHI NGA, police officer from the Commercial Crime Bureau, dislikes his interview on TV very much. Her team leader CHOW SUN-YUNG also dislikes him. WONG SHIU-LUNG, director of Brainman Group, is captured by the police but he tries to shift the blame to CHEUK YUK. Police inspector HO SHEUNG-YEE, SUN-YUNG's supervisor, assigns people to carry out investigation at Brainman Group. CHEUK YUK cooperates with the police and he chats with SUN-YUNG. SHEUNG-YEE carries out further investigation with her team immediately. She discovers that CHEUK YUK is receiving cash from TSUN-KEI. She suspects that those are black money and she captures them immediately. However, she later discovers that TSUN-KEI is innocent. CHO-WAI learns that CHEUK YUK is not getting along well with TSUN-KEI. He tries to please TSUN-KEI and he successfully convinces him to sell Brainman's company shares to him. CHEUK YUK discusses the matter with his team and everybody believes that PUI-FUN wants to test his capability. SHEUNG-YEE and the others are upset that they fail to find any supportive evidence to sue CHEUK YUK. SUN-YUNG is very angry and CHI NGA consoles him. SUN-YUNG reveals his past resentments on CHEUK YUK to CHI NGA. CHEUK YUK starts promoting the construction project and he attends media interview with SUN-YUNG's mother LO SEI-MUI. CHI NGA knows that CHEUK YUK is troubled by the charity construction project. She steals some important information from the Commercial Crime Bureau for him and she tries to shift the blame to SHEUNG-FEI. With the help of the two women, CHEUK YUK gets rid of the complaints from the Councilors and public successfully. CHEUK YUK believes that he will become the committee's vice president but he fails eventually and he feels that PUI-FUN has used him. PUI-FUN meets SUN-YUNG again while walking her dog. The two of them were lovers long time ago. SHEUNG-FEI loses some important information and the police carries out investigation on her. CHI NGA tries to take the blame for her and SHEUNG-FEI is very ashamed.… ...

CHI NGA decides to quit her job. SUN-YUNG persuades her to stay but it doesn't work. SHEUNG-FEI feels ashamed after learning about it. MING-YU discovers that CHEUK YUK is very upset because of PUI-FUN and she wants to give PUI-FUN a lesson. MING-YU organizes a charity ball with CHI-YIN and she invites PUI-FUN to join. She bribes PUI-FUN's dance teacher secretly and asks him to take video of PUI-FUN being raped during her practice. Luckily, SUN-YUNG arrives to rescue PUI-FUN and PUI-FUN invites him to the charity ball. SUN-YUNG had dated PUI-FUN in their younger days and they almost got married. SUN-YUNG is worried about SHEUNG-YEE and he finally reveals his past story with PUI-FUN to her. CHI NGA invites CHEUK YUK to meet up privately. She reveals that she has lost her job because of him and she asks him to lend her money for investments. CHEUK YUK wants to test her ability and he agrees swiftly.

CHI NGA tells SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE that she is going to work for Brainman. SHEUNG-YEE feels that people will misunderstand her but SUN-YUNG thinks that they should respect CHI NGA's decision. The person in charge of a mainland China water project wants to raise funds though an IPO but PUI-FUN objects the idea. Aiming to gain recognition in the committee, CHEUK YUK decides to support the project and he asks CHI NGA's boss to handle it. SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE learn that a company is cheating money by pyramid selling scheme. While carrying out investigation, they discover SHEUNG-HING there. The water project will damage the environment and some environmental protection groups start a protest against it. The company's representative from mainland China meets up with CHEUK YUK and reveals that CHI-YIN's name is one the supporter list of the environmental protection groups.… ...

CHI NGA's boss meets up with SHEUNG-YEE secretly for they are old friends. SHEUNG-YEE learns that SHEUNG-HING is being cheated once again and their property is mortgaged to the bank. SHEUNG-YEE is totally shocked and she runs away. MING-YU feels that CHING-WAH is unbearable and she finally accepts CHI NGA's help. CHI NGA meets up with CHING-WAH on the yacht privately. SUN-YUNG worries that he will lose the chance to capture CHEUK YUK and he goes to CHEUK YUK's place alone. After receiving a call, CHEUK YUK and MING-YU change their plan. MING-YU meets up with the mainland China government official alone. SHEUNG-YEE is also carrying investigation but SUN-YUNG suddenly appears. SHEUNG-YEE blames SUN-YUNG for ruining her plan. PUI-FUN learns that CHEUK YUK's project is almost ready and she decides to procrastinate it by making use of her president role in the committee. SUN-YUNG doesn't want SHEUNG-YEE to misunderstand him so he tries not to tell her that he is meeting up with CHEUK YUK. However, SHEUNG-YEE misconceives that SUN-YUNG is meeting up with PUI-FUN. SUN-YUNG accepts CHEUK YUK's invitation and he arrives at the football court. CHI NGA also arrives to support CHEUK YUK and she learns about his past story from the coach's wife. MING-YU reveals that CHEUK YUK is promoting his Elderly Scheme. SUN-YUNG believes that CHEUK YUK is making use of their coach and he starts a quarrel with him. SUN-YUNG keeps finding new evidences proving that PUI-FUN has corrupted and he doesn't know what to do. SUN-YUNG thinks over the case carefully and he finally decides to meet up with PUI-FUN. CHEUK YUK invites CHI NGA to meet up at the villa and he presses her against the sofa. CHEUK YUK finally invites CHI NGA to handle the "C Coin" project. HO-MING reports the case to SHEUNG-YEE and SHEUNG-YEE finds CHI NGA even more suspicious. Everybody in Hong Kong is investing on "C Coin" but PUI-FUN and CHEUK YUK are not supportive at all. Some ICAC officers arrive to capture PUI-FUN for investigation. SUN-YUNG finds evidence to prove that PUI-FUN is innocent and he tries to carry out further investigation in China. However, SHEUNG-YEE stops him from going for she has other important tasks for him. SUN-YUNG wants to save PUI-FUN desperately and he ignores SHEUNG-YEE's order.

SHEUNG-YEE is scolded by her supervisor for SUN-YUNG fails to carry out his duty. SUN-YUNG apologizes to SHEUNG-YEE but SHEUNG-YEE believes that SUN-YUNG values PUI-FUN more and she wants a separation. On the other hand, CHEUK YUK concentrates fully on "C Coin" project and he spends less time with MING-YU. MING-YU is very upset. When CHI NGA returns to office, she discovers that somebody has sneaked into her room to steal her computer data. CHEUK YUK's staff asks her to visit the security room and she realizes that HO-MING has entered her room before. SHEUNG-YEE asks KWOK-LEUNG and SHEUNG-FEI to carry out investigation on CHI-NGA but the two of them do not believe that CHI NGA will commit crime. KWOK-LEUNG and SHEUNG-FEI go to drink at the pub. They end up sleeping together. KAM-FAT suggests SUN-YUNG to pursue PUI-FUN once again but SUN-YUNG rejects him instantly.… ...

CHI NGA performs well on the "C Coin" project and CHEUK YUK trusts her very much. He even invites her to join the company's advisory group and MING-YU is upset. SUN-YUNG overhears SHEUNG-YEE's conversation with her boss and he feels that SHEUNG-YEE values her job more than him. SHEUNG-FEI suggests SHEUNG-YEE to pretend that she is moving out in front of SUN-YUNG. However, when SHEUNG-YEE says that she will move out, SUN-YUNG has no objection at all. SHEUNG-YEE is making preparation for her promotion interview but SUN-YUNG fails to see her on the interview day. SHEUNG-YEE has overslept and her car is out of order. She doesn't know what to do and SUN-YUNG arrives to help her. CHI NGA tries to steal information from Brainman's computer database and she is shocked to discover that HO-MING has logged in to the database as well. MING-YU believes that CHI NGA is a spy. She captures her secretly to question her and torture her.

CHI NGA is dying and CHEUK YUK arrives to rescue her. MING-YU is very angry and jealous. SHEUNG-YEE is absent for the promotion interview and her colleagues tease her. SUN-YUNG cannot bear it and he starts a quarrel with them. After leaving the hospital, CHI NGA decides to disclose HO-MING's matter to CHEUK YUK for she wants to gain his trust again. After learning that CHEUK YUK is monitoring HO-MING, SUN-YUNG and SHEUNG-YEE rush to protect him. SHEUNG-YEE reveals to SUN-YUNG that HO-MING is her spy and SUN-YUNG is very disappointed with CHI NGA. HO-MING enters the hospital and CHEUK YUK promotes CHI NGA. SUN-YUNG arrives at Brainman to question CHI NGA. CHI NGA cannot bear the blame and she finally reveals her father's identity to SUN-YUNG...

In order to support SUN-YUNG, CHI NGA steals the information of "C Coin" from CHEUK YUK's computer for him. SUN-YUNG shares the information with SHEUNG-YEE but he tries not to reveal CHI NGA's identity to her. CHEUK YUK sends CHI NGA a residential unit and he asks her to return to the company. CHI NGA learns that MING-YU doesn't want her to return and she decides to talk to her directly. Everybody is investing in "C Coin". Encouraged by KAM-FAT, KIU persuades all neighbors to invest in "C Coin" as well. Even though MING-YU objects it, CHEUK YUK still invests a lot in "C Coin" and MING-YU believes that he supports it fully because of CHI NGA. CHI NGA's plan is entering the final stage and she decides to leave Hong Kong afterwards. CHI NGA's mother has died and she hesitates if she should crack the system of "C Coin". In fact, CHEUK YUK has discovered everything already...

CHI NGA falls down from the cliff. CHEUK YUK reports the case to the police and asks them to send her to the hospital. SUN-YUNG cannot bear to reveal CHI NGA's real identity to CHEUK YUK and CHEUK YUK hesitates. SHEUNG-HIM reveals CHI NGA's plan to everybody. SHEUNG-YEE and KWOK-LEUNG realize that they have misunderstood CHI NGA. On the next day, CHEUK YUK takes the initiative to visit the Commercial Crime Bureau to provide information of "C Coin" to them. SUN-YUNG suspects that CHEUK YUK wants to shift the blame to CHI NGA and he is very angry. "C Coin" drops drastically. KIU and all neighbors are losing a lot of money. All of them try to question KAM-FAT. All the investors of "C Coin" set up a union and they try to seek help from PUI-FUN. CHEUK YUK visits PUI-FUN with the cracking program of "C Coin". He threatens PUI-FUN to recommend him to be the vice president of the committee.

SHEUNG-YEE is arrested by the police. She explains that she has crashed into YING-BIU accidentally while chasing after SHEUNG-HIM. However, SHEUNG-HIM provides evidence to prove that he was not there. SHEUNG-YEE is detained and she is not able to attend the wedding ceremony with SUN-YUNG. CHEUK YUK accompanies CHI NGA to receive medical treatments in the USA but CHI NGA is not completely ready to accept him. CHEUK YUK returns to Hong Kong and he meets up with MING-YU. Out of anger, MING-YU says that she wants a divorce but CHEUK YUK agrees. YING-BIU is sad to learn that CHEUK YUK will divorce MING-YU. He tries to air his grievances to a netfriend. He dates the netfriend and discovers that this is SHEUNG-FEI. KAM-FAT is being scolded by CHEUK YUK and he decides to resign. SHEUNG-YEE is sued for careless driving. Since the term of imprisonment is very short, SUN-YUNG tries not to appeal for this might increase the term of imprisonment.… ...

SHEUNG-YEE has a miscarriage in the prison. Her mother SAU-KUEN is shocked to learn about the news. She has a stroke and is sent to the hospital. After divorcing MING-YU, CHEUK YUK leaves and sets up a new company. MING-YU tries to keep the staff with high pay. YING-BIU supports MING-YU and he stays. After learning that SHEUNG-YEE is imprisoned, CHI NGA questions SHEUNG-HIM and she decides to return to Hong Kong alone. SHEUNG-HING needs to pay for his mother's medical expenses. He meets CHEUK YUK at work. He tries to play tricks on him and he is being fired. Coincidentally, his wife KA-MAN is being fired as well. CHI-YIN learns that KA-MAN wants to divorce SHEUNG-HING and she tries to console SHEUNG-HING. SHEUNG-YEE is released from prison but she tries to hide away from SUN-YUNG and the others. SHEUNG-YEE wants to separate with SUN-YUNG.

SHEUNG-YEE enters Brainman after releasing from the prison and she becomes MING-YU's assistant. MING-YU and SHEUNG-YEE go to the Art Museum together. They meet PUI-FUN and her cousin YAT-SING. YAT-SING is attracted by SHEUNG-YEE. CHI NGA learns from KWOK-LEUNG that SHEUNG-YEE has joined Brainman and she is worried for SUN-YUNG. After separating with SHEUNG-YEE, SUN-YUNG resorts to drink all the time. With the help of CHI-YIN, SHEUNG-HING starts working at her farm. SHEUNG-HING declares his love to CHI-YIN and CHI-YIN is deeply touched. PUI-FUN is very exhausted and she meets SUN-YUNG. She tries to console SUN-YUNG but SUN-YUNG rejects her. PUI-FUN still stays by his side. YAT-SING pursues SHEUNG-YEE and SHEUNG-YEE accepts his expensive gift. MING-YU discovers that CHEUK YUK is collaborating with YAT-SING to fight against PUI-FUN. She meets up with CHEUK YUK to threaten him for she wants to fight against PUI-FUN with him.

PUI-FUN's family's bank is in great debt and she tries to seek help from her father's old friend but this friend dies suddenly after agreeing to help. YAT-SING finally reveals to PUI-FUN that he is collaborating with CHEUK YUK and he forces PUI-FUN to hand over the family business to him. Knowing that PUI-FUN has transferred her family business to YAT-SING, the Commercial Crime Bureau tries to carry out investigation on him. SHEUNG-FEI and SHEUNG-YEE meet SHEUNG-HING and CHI-YIN accidentally. SHEUNG-FEI realizes SHEUNG-HING's objective and she scolds him but SHEUNG-YEE supports him. PUI-FUN loses her family business and CHEUK YUK forces her to give up her president role as well. SHEUNG-HING and CHI-YIN go to visit the poor people in China. After leaving Brainman, KAM-FAT is influenced by KIU and he goes to distribute rice to the poor with her. After becoming the president, CHEUK YUK decides to collaborate with the China government official's son TSUN-KEI to earn money. MING-YU learns that she could get a baby with CHEUK YUK by artificial insemination and she decides to try it.
