When she goes upstairs to tell the nanny that they’re leaving, Billy calls Ken to tell him that they’re going to have to pick up where they left off another night. Alex and Kevin continue their hunt for the blogger. Alex considers recommending Kevin for a job as a computer specialist once his community service is done. Adam invites Melanie to the party at Victor’s. Victor announces that Newman Enterprises is solely owned by their family. Nick makes an important announcement about his future with Avery.

Nick receives an envelope from the paternity lab. Meanwhile, Phyllis finds birth control pills in Summer’s purse. Phyllis urges her to really think before doing anything. Kyle confides in Jack that he’s growing more attached to Summer, and enjoys spending time with her. Nikki and Victor rent out a room at the club to celebrate Summer’s graduation. After the celebration is over and everyone is gone, Victor surprises Nikki with two tickets for their honeymoon. Later, Nick comes home from Summer’s graduation and rips open the envelope from the paternity lab. Michael and Lauren bring Fen home from graduation to celebrate with Kevin and Paul. Fen tries to act like he’s grateful when Michael and Lauren give him a car. Fen receives a text saying he isn’t invited to the graduation party because he’s a loser.

Cane and Lily enjoy a dinner together as they discuss balancing family and work. Cane tells Lily that she shouldn’t have walked away from the campaign and that he was jealous of Tyler. Alex asks Kevin if he knows anything about a recent robbery. Kevin vehemently denies having any involvement and Alex leaves. Nick opens the paternity test results and is shocked to learn that he’s not Summer’s father. When Noah asks him what’s wrong, Nick covers, saying he received an unexpected repair bill from the Underground. Later, Sharon tries to offer help to Nick. Phyllis tells Summer that whatever she has planned with Kyle can wait. Later, Summer and Kyle end their date with a kiss.

He covers and says he was just going over some receipts and that the restaurant made some money. Victoria suspects that something else is going on with Billy.

Chelsea tells Dylan that she loves him. Dylan later admits that he can’t live in the past, and he does love Chelsea. Meanwhile, Anita considers telling Adam about Chelsea and the baby. Cane hires Hilary as his new assistant. Hilary introduces herself to Lily and tells her she recognizes her as the face of Jabot.

Lauren overhears Michael tell Fen that he wants his marriage to work. Michael gets a text from a client, and has to leave. Later, Carmine comes over to visit Lauren. Leslie reads over the letter that Neil wants to post to the blogger. Leslie realizes something the blogger said was in a letter that Rose wrote to Gus. Phyllis and Nick decide to tell Summer the truth about the paternity test. Nick buckles, and ends up telling Summer that he’s worried about her and Kyle. When they’re alone, Phyllis asks Nick what happened.

Phyllis tells Jack that she needs to go to Chicago and the executive that was supposed to go with her is on vacation. When Jack offers to go, Phyllis suggests that Kyle go with her instead. Chelsea leaves, and Adam informs Melanie that Chelsea is his ex-wife. Billy brings Victoria to see Adam so he can confirm that he’s been gambling. Billy’s plan backfires, as Adam says Billy must have really screwed up if he was willing to use gambling as an excuse. Chelsea arrives at Dylan’s and notices a freshly painted wall this is slightly obscured by a sheet. Dylan distracts her and says she can see what it is after dinner. After dinner, Dylan pulls down the sheet to reveals a surprise for Chelsea. Leslie and Neil inform Avery that Gus left half of his estate to his children and the other half to Rose Turner. Leslie finds a photo of Rose in Gus’s safe deposit box. Leslie thinks Neil should respond to the blogger with a mention of Rose. Lauren and Michael’s date is interrupted by the waiter bringing over a bottle of Champagne. Michael believes that Carmine ordered the bottle.

When Summer questions why Phyllis is in Kyle’s room, Phyllis says they are meeting about work, and that Kyle can’t talk because he’s in the shower. Sharon questions what is bothering Nick. Avery overhears, and wonders why Sharon is making herself so available to Nick. Kevin confronts Billy and asks if he’s sleeping with Chloe. Meanwhile, Chloe enjoys telling Adam that Chelsea is engaged to Dylan. Anita disapproves of Chelsea’s engagement to Dylan. Billy leaves Victoria a heartfelt message asking her to let him come home. Chloe accuses Kevin of avoiding the real problem in their marriage which is his stealing. Adam figures out that Sharon still thinks she might have a chance with Nick.

Avery tells Nick that she thinks he needs some space and that she can’t help him if he won’t open up to her. Adam tries to get to know Melanie but she is reluctant to reveal anything. When she excuses herself, Adam takes the opportunity to go through her phone.

Jill offers Hilary double her pay to divert projects to her instead of Cane. Lily comes clean with Cane, and tells him that Tyler is the reason she left the campaign. Delia is pained by the news, but is assured that it has nothing to do with her. Fen passes money to a dealer in exchange for a bag of pills.

Adam heads to the shower and overhears Melanie make an important phone call. Dylan asks Chelsea to move in with him. Chelsea admits to Chloe that she hates that the best relationship she has ever had is based on a lie. Meanwhile, Dylan reunites with his old friend Stitch. Phyllis succeeds in keeping Kyle and Summer apart by asking them to help her plan Jack’s surprise party.

Tyler tells Leslie that Neil fired him. Neil and Tyler plead their side to Leslie, who ultimately agrees that Neil did the right thing. Leslie tells them that Rose died six years ago of a stroke. Neil receives another notice on his phone from the blogger. Chloe tries to cheer up Delia, but the only thing that puts a smile on her face is Kevin coming through the door. After Kevin leaves, Chloe realizes that Delia’s has a high fever. Chloe frantically calls Billy and leaves him a message. Billy comforts her and says everything will be fine with Delia. Billy surprises Delia with an impromptu 4th of July celebration. Nikki tells Billy that she doesn’t want to see her daughter hurt because of him. Billy begs Nikki to ask Victoria to give him one more chance. Victor tells Billy that he is and an addict, and that’s all he’ll ever be. Nikki blasts Victor for being so harsh about addiction. Alex wants Kevin to take him up on his offer to work for the police.

Michael tears up the divorce papers, and leads Lauren into the bedroom. Fen comes to see Carmine with the hopes of scoring some drugs. Carmine turns Fen down and calls Lauren to warn her, but she hits the ‘ignore’ button on her phone. Carmine finds Fen passed out in the alley with a bag of white powder next to him. Kyle admits to Abby that he shouldn’t have ended things with Summer, but doesn’t think calling her is a good idea. Abby thinks Kyle should tell Jack about the kiss he shared with Phyllis. When Jack overhears Kyle arguing with Abby. Kyle is forced to come clean about the kiss. Courtney tells Kyle that Summer will come home if he tells her that he’s sorry. Courtney calls Summer to let her know that her parents are in Chicago looking for her. Phyllis and Nick look for Summer at a modeling agency in Chicago. Summer sends Phyllis and Nick a text informing them that she is heading back to Genoa City. Phyllis goes home and tells Jack that she needs to tell him something. Later, Nick finds Summer.

Chelsea is surprised to learn that Anita and Jeff are coming over to have dinner with her and Dylan. Anita is shocked at where Chelsea and Dylan live. Dylan hopes that Anita and Jeff can be happy for them. Later, Dylan brings up the connection between Chelsea and her mother. Meanwhile, Jeff wants the truth out of Anita about whose baby Chelsea is carrying. When Michael and Lauren rush to Fen’s hospital room, Michael accuses Carmine of giving Fen the drugs. Carmine says he saved Fen’s life. The doctor informs them that Fen’s condition is critical, and that they should talk to him, because familiar voices are helpful. Michael asks Fen how this happened. Phyllis comes clean and tells Jack that she kissed Kyle to break him and Summer apart because Summer is Jack’s daughter. When Jack blasts Phyllis for keeping this from him, she tells him she didn’t know until Nick told her. Meanwhile, Summer accuses Nick of lying in order to keep her away from Kyle. Nick assures her it’s true. Nick wants to take Summer home and she tells him that she doesn’t have a home or a family.

Kevin thanks Paul for his new job. Michael demands Carmine be locked up for trying to kill his son. Paul agrees to start investigating. Lauren sees Carmine outside Fen’s hospital room and blames him for putting Fen in the hospital. Carmine insists he had nothing to do with it. Paul takes Carmine down to the station for questioning. Later, Michael asks if Fen is sure Carmine gave him the drugs. Victor questions Adam about his love life. Later, Adam warns Melanie not to underestimate Victor. Victor gets Melanie to admit that she has been working with Adam. When Melanie offers to continue to work for Adam, he tells her that she failed at her task and is of no use to him. Leslie reads Neil one of Rose’s letters to Gus begging him not to cut her off. Neil learns that Rose died in a hospital in Evanston in 2007. Nikki explains to Victoria that Billy needs his family and that she should give him another chance. Victor comes home and tells Nikki about a fundraiser he wants to have for MS research. Meanwhile, Chloe talks to Billy about his addiction and says that she is on his side.

Phyllis promises Summer that she will be there for her every step of the way. Meanwhile, Nick tells Victor that Summer is not his biological daughter. Victor concludes that Summer is Jack’s daughter and gets upset that Summer is an Abbott. Neil sees Jill at On The Blvd, and invites her to have dinner with him. Lily greets them, and then goes to sit with Cane and Hilary while they go over contracts. Meanwhile, Neil receives a new message from the mystery blogger and recalls being in a bar in Evanston in 2007. Abby shows up at Noah and Tyler’s apartment. Tyler says he needs a break from old habits and surprises Abby with a kiss.

Later, Jack admits to Phyllis that he is tempted to fall off the wagon. Nick shows up to see Jack. Kyle asks for Billy’s help in turning the restaurant into a romantic night for Summer. Billy hands him the keys and tells him to lock up when he’s done. Summer gets a text from Kyle saying they need to talk. Summer walks into the romantic set up Kyle has created. Kyle explains that he wants to start over where they had their first date. Summer bursts into tears and tells Kyle they cannot ever date.

Later, Summer breaks down in Jack’s arms. Meanwhile, Avery assures Nick that they can get through this together. Carmine uploads a sex tape of him and Lauren.

Victor tells Adam that Melanie should be his guest at the gala. Adam says that won’t happen since Victor fired her. Phyllis accidentally informs Adam about Summer’s paternity. She tells Adam that no matter what, Nick will always be a better person than him. Meanwhile, Nick tells Victoria the truth about Summer’s paternity. Later, Phyllis tells Nick she went to see Michael because there might be some legal issues they need to address.

Neil receives a new blog post calling him a murderer, and saying that they won’t reveal themselves until he has lost more than they have. Cane apologizes to Hilary when she gets dragged into the latest blog post. Cane refuses to believe that Neil killed someone. Adam asks Sharon to be a character witness for him. Adam and Nick exchange words before Adam leaves. Nick warns Sharon against supporting Adam in court. Tyler informs Noah that he’s going back to work at Jabot and that Noah can get his photographers assistant job back. Later, Tyler overhears the way Abby describes him to Traci and says he feels the same way about her.

Lily and Cane head over to the mansion and discuss the postcards with Esther and Jill. Chloe and Devon join the group as they prepare to welcome Katherine home. Jill gets a call from Murphy who apologizes for being late and asks everyone to stay put until he arrives. Victor mentions that Katherine’s trip sounded like the kind of adventure you wait your whole life for. While Nick prepares a romantic evening to welcome Avery back home, Sharon calls him to say that Faith wants to see him. After the three of them enjoy playing games together, Faith falls asleep and Sharon enjoys the happy sight of the family she longs to have with Nick. Avery finds the note that Nick left. She grabs her keys and leaves. Billy pulls out all the stops to prove to Victoria that he is committed to their relationship. Victoria is amused by his efforts, but wonders if this is really going to change anything. Billy asks her to let him make his case, and promises she won’t regret it.

Later, Chelsea defends Adam to Melanie, telling him that no matter how awful he is, he is not the monster she is accusing him of being. Later, Melanie makes an important decision about the case. Adam tells Jack that Leslie wants him to cut a deal, but he is not going to admit to rape for lighter charges. When Adam wonders if it is time to cut his losses and leave Genoa City, Jack tells him that running will only make things worse. Jill and Esther argue over whether or not Katherine would want Jill to have the combination to the safe. Later, Jill realizes the combination and finds an important gift from Katherine inside.

Kevin figures out that Carmine scanned a picture of an I.D. badge for a maintenance worker of the crew from Lauren and Michael’s building. Meanwhile, Lauren is shocked to see Carmine in her apartment. Michael and Carmine face off and Lauren pulls a gun on Carmine. Sharon explains to Faith that Nick is going to marry Avery and she needs to accept that. Faith doesn’t think Avery can make him happy the way Sharon can.

Victor asks Victoria to head the merger of Chancellor Industries and Newman Enterprises. Victor is pleased that Victoria is willing to consider his offer.

Lauren is horrified as Fen continues to share information about the night Carmine died. Meanwhile, Michael continues to frustrate Paul when he refuses to tell the truth about the night that Carmine died. Later, Paul surprises Christine.

Avery blasts Nikki for dragging her into her secret about being Dylan’s mother. Victor interrupts and questions why Nikki is updating her will. Later, Avery tells Nikki she would rather get disbarred than hide this secret from Dylan. Paul explains to Christine that they have a shard of plastic from a headlight that Alex things may have come off the car that hit Delia. The Abbott family welcomes Ashley back to Genoa City. Billy eventually opens up to Ashley about the nightmare he’s been going through since Delia died. Tyler admits to Leslie that he is serious about Abby even though it wasn’t what they planned. Neil comes to see Leslie and she tells him she has an idea on how to get through to Hilary. Meanwhile, Mason tells Hilary that they should leave town. Hilary lashes out at Mason and he leaves her alone. Later, Leslie visits Hilary with important information.
