We also meet a talented young couple who are bringing fresh food to Alpena, and even go to a surreal place where you can find a real lot of fossils. Then we to great Grand Rapids for a trip back in time, a finer diner, and a Michigan-made guitar that will rock your socks off.

Just north of Kalkaska, we found some crazy, cool, and colorful concrete creations, and in Cadillac, we had a meal that not only filled our stomachs...it warmed our hearts. Then, we used a farm and a fork to meet a blue cow in Big Rapids, snacked like superheroes with Herman's Boy in Rockwell, and ended with a classic cocktail at Nick Fink's Tavern in Comstock Park.
