Alan meets couple Andrew and Tammy, and their huge and adorable Central Asian Shepherd dog, Drogo, a refugee of the war in Ukraine, who spends his days sleeping and doing very little else. Alan hopes that an expert dog trainer can bring back some life into this depressed canine, by teaching him to become a water rescue dog. However, Pete has a major challenge on his hands to even get Drogo into the water. Natalie and Daniel are overwhelmed by their beautiful but very lively Malamute, Wynter. Alan thinks he has the solution in an agility dog trainer who believes it's not just the dog that requires training, but the owner too! She sets Natalie and Wynter to work on an agility course, and surprises them with the news of Wynter's final challenge - to take part in a dog agility competition

Alan meets energetic Sprocker Spaniel Lychee, a 'Lockdown Dog' who is uncontrollable off the lead as he follows new scents while on his walkies. Fire investigation dog trainer Clive Gregory is challenged with training Lychee to put that nose to good use. And Freddie the poodle's attention is all over the place. Dog trainer Lucy Heath works on Freddie's focusing - with the challenge of turning him into a doggy model.

Alan Titchmarsh meets Mili the Greek Harehound and her owners. Greek Harehounds were bred for tracking and chasing hares, meaning Mili's attention is often diverted by the wildlife near her home in Dorset. Alan introduces Susanne Broughton, an expert in 'mantrailing' who teaches Mili to track down a person from an item of their clothing. In just four weeks, can Susanne get Mili to focus and track down a hidden person in remote wood? Another couple are concerned about their beautiful Samoyed Yuki since their beloved dog lost an eye to glaucoma. Alan sends in expert dog trainer Beth Kent who can see the potential in Yuki as a therapy dog. Beth needs to get Yuki's liveliness back, and her final challenge takes place in a special needs school.

Alan meets lawyer Kizzie and her energetic two-year-old Labrador, Duke, who often jumps onto the kitchen counter, spilling drinks. Renowned dog trainer Jo-Rosie Haffenden tries to unleash this Labrador's full potential as a stunt dog - including a challenge in his own Wild West movie where he must thwart the bad guy, retrieve loot bags and untie the damsel in distress. Cocker spaniel Bonnie constantly barks. Alan sends in expert dog trainer Becki Gude, who believes Bonnie has what it takes to become an assistance dog to the elderly if she can calm down. Her final test sees her in a residential care home where she must open a cupboard door, retrieve and deliver a pair of reading glasses to the owner, take a walking aid to its owner and turn on a lamp!
