1x39 - Episode 39

April 13, 2000

NAM gives testimony at the police station and insists that the satyr is wearing a red top. TIN is very dissatisfied with NAM who has misled the police and raises a quarrel with NAM. WAI, YUAN and the colleagues do not trust TIN. All keep away from TIN. TIN intends to talk with WAI. WAI refuses to defend for TIN. TIN asks JAMES to help him. JAMES asks TIN to confess. SIN sacks TIN and asks TIN to seek help from ALEX. TIN blames SIN. TIN goes to see the fortune-teller again. The fortune-teller demands ninety thousand from TIN to improve his situation. TIN thinks that the fortune-teller is a liar. TIN wants to talk to friends about his unhappy encounters but nobody is willing to listen to his grievance. A taxi passes by and spilt some dirty water on TIN’s body. WAI scolds TIN terribly but TIN does not respond at all. TIN dreams that everybody hit him with slippers. He then throws away all slippers.… ...

1x40 - Episode 40

April 14, 2000

TIN is sent to the hospital. The doctor said that TIN’s will to continue to live is very weak. WAI defends for herself. All colleagues agree that TIN is only a bit nosy and talkative and does not look like a satyr. They decide to test TIN. Consequently, they proved that TIN has never peeped at the public toilet. NAM and NGOR return to the spot where the peeping case happened. NGOR goes to the public toilet and discovers that somebody is peeping at her. They find out that the Peeping Tom is the fortune-teller. WAI finds TIN in the toilet when she went to the toilet. Everybody hit TIN hard. Meanwhile, they received a call that the real Peeping Tom was caught red-handed. The doctor points out that TIN’s will to live is very weak. WAI apologizes to TIN. Meanwhile, the heart-beat counter stops.

1x41 - Episode 41

April 17, 2000

WAI sees TIN is so pity. She asks him to stay at home to take a good rest. However, TIN finishes his work early in the morning and places all relevant documents on everybody’s desks respectively. NAM gives money to TIN and asks him to relax at Lan Kwai Fong. TIN continues to pretend to be very depressed. WAI wants to help TIN to regain his confidence. She intends to take legal action against those who has despised TIN. However, JAMES makes the first move and takes legal action against.

1x42 - Episode 42

April 18, 2000

WAI who has always spoke bad words to hurt TIN. WAI has to suspend her duty. WAI stays at home. She is shocked to see that TIN returns home before five o’clock. Since WAI has gone, staff at the law firm has become very lazy. They even have hot-pot in the conference room and alerts the fire detector.

When everybody is very busy in cleaning the office, SIN discovers that ALEX has sent CK firm a warning letter. All are very nervous. WAI and TIN become enemies at court. JAMES does not have a good preparation. He performs badly at court despite the fact that WAI has had give him advice in a subtle way. TIN even has had made a very poor conclusion. The judge urges them to have mutual reconciliation. Staff of CK’s firm is glad to see WAI return. They want to treat WAI lunch but WAI finds out that all have not yet received their salaries.

April 20, 2000

The business of CK firm has been dropped terribly since WAI has gone. WAI urges everybody to try his best to develop more business opportunities. However, all fail to secure any case. WAI and TIN walk in the street and find that ALEX has placed above-the-line advertisement aggressively. They immediately inform CK the case. All decide to place advertisement too.

April 21, 2000

CK is very nervous during shooting which account for many “No Good” shots. He is so hungry that he faints after a long time shooting. WAI, APPLE and SIN then replace CK. WAI arrives at the studio. TIN takes out the superman uniform and insists WAI to wear it. He claims that they have amended the storyboard. WAI knew that TIN is playing trick on her. She then wears the superman uniform and takes the opportunity to beat TIN who is performing as the monster.

April 24, 2000

CK’s advertisement is well received by the public. They receive a lot of calls after the advertisement released. All are very excited. An agency even invites APPLE to be a model of a fitness centre. All envy APPLE. WAI claims that it is a trap and insists to accompany APPLE to the agency. After investigation, it is not a trap. WAI is jealous with APPLE.

April 25, 2000

APPLE is very charming after perking up. All envy APPLE. They encounter a rich bachelor, TONY. However, TONY only talks to WAI. APPLE frankly points out that TONY is her dream man. Since the advertisement of the fitness centre, with APPLE to be the model, has been released, APPLE becomes the focus point and the star. TONY even takes the initiative to chat with APPLE. WAI is very dissatisfied. APPLE is suddenly full of confidence and wants to be a high-class lady.

1x48 - Episode 48

April 26, 2000

TONY invites APPLE to dinner. TONY gives APPLE a ride home. APPLE lies that she is living in the luxurious apartment. APPLE then has to stay in WAI’’s place. WAI discovers that APPLE is making lard rice. WAI thinks that this is why APPLE got a big breast. All ladies in the law firm follow APPLE. WAI suffers from diarrhea after taking the lard rice.

April 27, 2000

APPLE heard a lot of strange comment on her way to the office. Everybody in the office is talking about plastic surgery for the breast. She then learns that the fitness centre has made use of her advertisement to promote breast enlargement program. APPLE is difficult to get at the truth. WAI helps APPLE to clarify and promises to sue the fitness centre on behalf of APPLE.

April 28, 2000

ALEX questions APPLE that the content of her advertisement does not mention a single word regarding breast enlargement. APPLE is in a disadvantageous position. WAI knew that APPLE does not have much chance to win. WAI then negotiates with ALEX. ALEX refuses to negotiate with WAI. TIN thinks of a device. He asks JAMES to invite ALEX to HENRY’s bar. ALEX falls into their trap. ALEX is too late to srealize that it is a gay bar. NAM and NGOR have already taken many pictures with ALEX at the gay bar.

TIN and WAI intend to settle the case with ALEX calmly; however, ALEX insists to be remunerated. ALEX gives his final statement; meanwhile, WAI adduces objection with strong evidences. She presents the photos of ALEX, which took place at ‘Right Hand Evening Party’ and the day that ALEX delivered the legal letter to the ‘Companion Magazine’. Moreover, WAI also points out that ALEX is highly concerned about his image; yet, her evidences overrule the accusation from ALEX eventually. WAI wins the case at last.

Just when the staffs are almost to leave the office after a day of hard work; CK returns to the office with a huge pile of documents. In the end, everyone has to work overtime. Despite long working hours, staffs complains that insufficient rest causes acne easily. Therefore, JAMES brings dozen of Chinese Herbal jelly to the office and prepares for the long working hours. WAI doubts about the effectiveness of the jelly; on contrary, LIANG gives WAI compliments on her insights because of the Chinese herbal jelly. In fact, LIANG is preparing to take legal action against his younger brother, ZHENG, for not using the family traditional prescription on his Chinese herbal jelly. As the flaunting of LIANG overwhelms WAI, she does not take serious consideration and yet, agrees to represent LIANG in the lawsuit.… ...

WAI is always concerned about her image; yet, she feels very frustrate about the acne. Therefore, she covers herself with a big towel before she steps out her room. Her wields behavior causes the attention of TIN immediately; hence, TIN takes the chance to make fun on her. He pretends to drive away SIU KEUNG and lifts up her towel. Moreover, he laughs at the ugly appearance of WAI and gossips with the colleagues on the next day in order to make her embarrass. Meanwhile, LEUNG FONG visits the solicitor firm and diagnosis that WAI is poisoned. She then suggests WAI to eat more Chinese herbal jelly in order to clear away the toxin at her body. WAI doubts. The medical effect of Chinese herbal jelly is still under debate; therefore, LEUNG FONG tries to convince his prescription can cure the acne on WAI and asks WAI to take care of his tortoise temporarily. The next day, an unexpected thing happens.… ...

1x54 - Episode 54

TIN swears that he will take revenge on the tortoise; meanwhile, he has prepared a funeral ceremony for SIU KEUNG also. However, WAI does not feel sad at all, she is excited when she realizes that the tortoise helps her to punish TIN indirectly. But this alliance soon breaks up when WAI discovers that the tortoise swallows her diamond earrings. WAI is so angry that she insists to kill the tortoise and open up its stomach. Luckily, TIN stops her. WAI quotes the medical dictionary and the tortoise as evidence to support her statement; while, ALEX accuses that LEUNG FONG does not use the tortoise as ingredients in making the Chinese herbal jelly.

TIK NAM hears that CHING YEUK is preparing to kill the tortoise openly in order to attest his formula is based on traditional prescription. Therefore, YUAN rushes to Chun Fong Tong to rescue the tortoises. Just when CHING prepares to kill the tortoise, TIK NAM also arrives and stops both YUAN and CHING. In the chaos, the cartoon boxes fall down and TIK NAM picks up some pill on the floor secretly. In court, ALEX concludes his statement; meanwhile, TIN passes an edition of “Companion Magazine” to WAI. Based on the research from this magazine, WAI proves that the formula of CHING’s Chinese herbal jelly contains female hormone stimulator, which overrules the statement of ALEX eventually.

In the office, everyone seems so worry about the side effects of the Chinese herbal jelly. Therefore, WAI tries to pacify them and explains that the side effects could only happen if they eat the jelly consistently. JAMES is shocked because he has eaten the jelly for twenty years regularly. Hence, TIN proposes to help JAMES to recover his male hormones then. Client, CHONG LUI pops in the solicitor firm and insists to invite NAM to be her lawyer. She would like to charge against a doctor, who made a careless mistake in his prescription. Meanwhile, JAMES yells out that he is a man also.

On the trial day, JAMES is late on court; moreover, his performance is disappointed. Nevertheless, he cannot overrule the accusations of ALEX. CHONG LUI is disappointed and blames the incapability of JAMES. Furthermore, she doubts about his gender because of her anger. JAMES is very upset and tries to find support from TIN. However, TIN refuses to comfort him and asks him to seek the answer from WAI instead. Hence, JAMES visits WAI in late evening and hopes to have some consolation. But WAI feels dilemma for his shows up.JAMES invites WAI for dinner. Because of hurry, WAI tends to drive away her car from car park on time; hence, she takes the hand of JAMES when crossing the street. Unintentionally, JAMES misunderstands her body language as a sign of love.

Afterwards, JAMES asks TIN about the feeling of holding hands with girls. Therefore, TIN suggests him to experience different feelings when holding hands with other colleagues. Nevertheless, JAMES also seeks for the advice from TIN on proposing love. JAMES invites WAI for dinner again. He tends to propose his love to WAI during the appointment. Due to his shy character, he is hesitant. Suddenly, he holds the hand of WAI and rushes across the street. But this time, the police stops them. JAMES ignores him and kneels down to propose his love to WAI at sudden.

May 11, 2000

WAI is full of shock when JAMES proposes his love to her. She invites APPLE and SIN to the pantry and finds solution. However, SIN suggests WAI to take the chance and develops the relationship with JAMES instead. WAI comments the relationship as ‘sausage mix’; but JAMES does not realize her metaphor at all. When WAI finishes a day of hard work, she is pleased to know that JAMES does not hang around at last. She decides to celebrate her release and goes out for shopping. In the shopping mall, she hears an announcement from JAMES, which broadcasts his love commitment. Meanwhile, WAI notices that JAMES is coming over with a bunch of flowers in hands. He also walks along with other colleagues; yet, WAI is overwhelmed. WAI and JAMES begin dating then. WAI is pleased with the sincerity of JAMES; however, due to the attachment of crystal, WAI and JAMES shares a different opinion.

On the next day, JAMES and WAI come back to the office together accidentally. All staffs are expecting to hear their good news; however, they give too much pressure on WAI. WAI loses her temper and yells that she would rather choose Dinosaur instead of carry on the relationship with JAMES. The hostile atmosphere melts down when both JAMES and WAI send crystal as their apology to each other. Meanwhile, they understand that their relationship can just be friendship at last.

NAM, TIN, WAI are gathering at the House Bar. By chance, they discover that SIN has traded in the microwave oven to House Bar. Just when they are gossiping, SIN shows up; yet, she is forced to give them an explanation instantly.

One day, a woman named MAY YUK, visits the solicitor firm with her 2 little kids. It is quite extraordinary because MAY YUK is not seeking for legal assistance but begging money from SIN. Of course, SIN is discontent for her sudden shows up; therefore, she orders MAY YUK not to bother her at the office anymore. In fact, MAY YUK has no kids and the children are borrowed from her friend instead. Mrs. Chu seeks legal advice from WAI. She tends to take legal action against an antique shop for selling damage goods to her. Therefore, SIN follows Mrs. Chu to the antique shop and asks for a price evaluation of a jade accessory. Afterwards, SIN returns to the office with excitement. Though TIN tries to find out the reason, he fails to obtain an answer. Suddenly, Mrs. Chu visits the solicitor firm again; but this time, she is coming for SIN only. Mrs. Chu agrees to offer twenty thousand dollars for the jade accessory that owned by SIN.… ...

SIN suddenly turns rich because of the jade accessory. However, she is hesitant to disclose her wealth; therefore, she asks WAI and TIN to keep the secret for her. Obviously, WAI and TIN are unreliable, at least in this case. They widely spread the news around the office and create a lot of trouble to SIN. Meanwhile, CK has another thought and tends to seek for financial support from SIN. On the other hand, MAY YUK also borrows money from SIN. SIN is now in great trouble; without any alternative measures, she makes an excuse for offering financial assistance to them after she trades in the jade accessory for money later. Unfortunately, Mrs. Chu shows up at sudden. She offers a handsome price for the jade accessory again. WAI cannot withstand the pressure that imposes on SIN and tends to help her. However, the case becomes more complicated when MAY YUK declares that the jade accessory belongs to her.… ...

Their disagreement creates a lot of suspicious in the office too. Meanwhile, WAI and NAM play a physiology game on their lust. The result of the test is quite unexpected to WAI because TIN and YUAN act totally contrast in the test. NAM intends to help SIN to find more proves, but he discovers that MAY YUK is returning the kids to the lender accidentally. At last, he realizes the truth.

NAM explains the incident that he saw and proves the innocent of SIN. At the same time, MAY YUK notices that WAI has discovered the truth; therefore, she has to find another lawyer for the lawsuit. At last, she has chosen ALEX to be her lawyer; meanwhile, WAI also represents SIN to fight for justice. However, the accusations of ALEX are strong; yet, WAI is in a weaker position. On the other hand, SIN dates CK in order to propose her love; however, CK has no interest about her at all. Therefore, SIN is so disappointed and returns the jade accessory to MAY YUK instead. The struggle of jade accessory between MAY YUK and Mrs. Chu carries on, but both of them cannot realize their dream because the jade accessory is broken in the conflict. At last, SIN offers a high price for the shatter pieces and becomes the owner of it again.

The girl colleagues feel great interest on an advertisement for match making gathering. As they hear about the rumors for its success, they are keen to join the function. But when WAI notices about it, she has a different opinion. However, SIN has high expectation on this gathering; yet, persuades WAI to attend the gathering together. During the gathering, WAI meets her dream man unexpectedly. But ironically, her Mr. Right is TIN instead.

Honesty speaking, WAI has no interest on TIN at all, she even wants to threw when she saw him. Therefore, TIN also shows irritate for the date and teases WAI in return. Their disagreement is halt when it comes to common interest. They both agree to keep secret on the match making appointment in order to avoid embarrassment. In the office, all girl colleagues are busy to dress up themselves for meeting with their new boyfriends. However, when TIN complains about the match making appointment at a radio broadcasting program ‘Dinner For Eight’, it is heard by the colleagues. Afterwards, when WAI realizes that TIN has made a complaint at the radio broadcasting program, she scolds TIN severely. But it is too late, their secret is disclosed and everyone laughs at them eventually. YUAN knows that WAI’s father, MAN is returning to Hong Kong soon.… ...

Actually, WAI realizes that MAN returns Hong Kong to arrange a divorce with YUAN. But in the viewpoint of WAI, it is unlikely for YUAN to accept the decision of MAN so sudden. Therefore, MAN agrees to postpone the arrangement. Meanwhile, MAN realizes that TIN is attached to YUAN; hence, he would like to play the matchmaker for them voluntarily. He swaps the bedroom with TIN at midnight; thus, creates chance for TIN to get closer with YUAN. However, WAI does not realize the purpose of MAN. When she finds that YUAN enters the bedroom, she fears that MAN will bring out the divorce issue. Hence, she follows YUAN into the room and discovers TIN, who is lying on bed instead. Without hearing any explanation, WAI hits TIN on his face with anger.

YUAN is interested to find more entertainment for MAN, so that they can compensate the period distant. She prepares to dine out with MAN but MAN makes an excuse that he has an appointment with SI PING. Apart, WAI rebukes POON SANG for his impulsive purchase on a car, which he has to bear full responsibility of it. TIN sees the chance to take advantage; hence, he agrees to share the burden of POON SANG and helps him to solve the problem. MAN and SI PING are playing mahjong. TIN insists to join in and loses a sum of money at last. On the other hand, TIN asks POON SANG to transfer his car to him at the solicitor firm; however, WAI quotes out the terms of the agreement, stating that the car is non-transferable. Yet, TIN loses the commission and has to remit a difference of sixty thousand dollars at the end. In reality, people sometimes are very selfish, especially when it comes to money.… ...

YUAN dates MAN for a concert performs by orchestra; again, MAN pretends having a stomachache and declines the invitation. Furthermore, he asks TIN to be his substitution and disappoints YUAN obviously. The next day, YUAN asks MAN to attend the astrophysics camp together; once again, MAN gives the ticket to TIN in a hurry and asks him to take care of YUAN thereafter. WAI finds TIN suspicious; hence, she follows him to the astrophysics camp. Due to the misunderstanding of slang, TIN thinks that it is a nude party. Therefore, he is so excited to take off his clothes under a tree when he reaches the campsite. WAI is so scared about his wield act and shouts at him immediately. Meanwhile, YUAN arrives and explains that it is an astrophysics camp only.

YUAN has a lot of discontents towards the cold attitude of MAN. She asks TIN to help her to knit a green hat for MAN in order to tease him. Moreover, YUAN also invites ALEX to be her lawyer and sue MAN for failing to fulfil the roles of a husband. WAI feels extremely embarrass to let ALEX realizes the relationship of her father and YUAN. In fact, her concern is right because ALEX takes the chance to tease MAN at the solicitor firm. He gives his regards to MAN loudly and hopes MAN could have a son soon. Though SIN and others try to offer help to WAI, WAI refuses and determines to face the embarrassment alone. At court, YUAN invites TIN to listen the judgement aside.

Meanwhile, MAN explains about his feelings and the reasons for his decision, which melts the heart of YUAN at once. YUAN calls off the charge and decides to leave Hong Kong. Everyone is gloomy for her goodbye. Meanwhile, YUAN hopes that WAI can find her soul mate soon and suggests her to let go of the traditional ethics sincerely. In the office, everyone wants to know the reason behind for YUAN’s departure. They tend to seek for the answer from TIN; however, WAI warns him not to keep it as a secret. Therefore, they try to drunk TIN in order to find the truth. Ironically, TIN makes use of the chance to blackmail WAI for money and in return, to keep the secret for her.

MAN has great interest in working at Hong Kong. But WAI scares that he will cause trouble, especially developing love affairs everywhere. Besides, WAI is afraid of poverty since the economic downturn. She shares her worries with SIN and meanwhile, she tends to prepare more money for retirement. In fact, SIN tells WAI that she is well planned for the retirement and has purchased an elderly apartment for herself. As SIN feels hopeless to get marry; thus the elderly apartment becomes the only shelter when she grew old. One day, SIN visits other unmarried old ladies and shares the women’s talk. Suddenly, a man hangs around at the doorway. Therefore, SIN goes out to investigate and notices that it is MAN.

June 1, 2000

MAN would like to look around at the house; yet, they come up with a tricky excuse and fool the old ladies easily. MAN is astonished to discover that the elder apartment is maintained in such a good shape; therefore, he expresses his feeling with poetry at once. His talent impresses the old ladies and of course, including SIN. The next day, LAU informs SIN that she has to withdraw the elderly apartment. SIN cries sadly and seeks for legal advice from WAI. WAI is eager to help her but she never expects that the defendant is her father, MAN.

1x75 - Episode 75

June 2, 2000

SIN notices that MAN is announcing the elderly apartment as protect ancient building. Moreover, she misunderstands WAI is conspired with MAN also. She shares her discontent and anger with TIN in order to get his sympathy. Afterwards, SIN returns home and spells on a doll, which fakes the appearance of MAN intentionally. On the trial day, MAN is ill and absent. Therefore, the trial has to postpone until MAN is recovered. Meanwhile, SIN notices that MAN is in serious condition; thus she feels guilty for cursing him. On the other hand, TIN discovers her spellbound accidentally. Although SIN wants to destroy the evidence, TIN picks up the doll at the trash instead. At court, MAN testifies that the elderly apartment is not ancient building; yet, SIN recovers her lost. Moreover, WAI sends TIN to entertain the old ladies, which annoys him very much. Hence, TIN tends to curse on WAI in return. Contradictory, the spell falls on TIN instead.

On the other hand, the relationship between SIN and MAN develops rapidly because of the incidents happened. SIN looks refresh obviously and yet, brings out the curiosity of colleagues. At last, they discover that MAN is dating SIN. Their relationship has once again made WAI feels embarrass. However, SIN advises WAI to open her mind instead. WAI is more furious then and announces that SIN and her father, MAN are close friend only.

A well-known businesswoman named JOYCE invites WAI to be her defensive lawyer. Her subordinate, CHAN FOOK WING is taking legal action against JOYCE for her sexual harassment. Therefore, WAI asks TIN to follow WING in order to find more proves. TIN trails WING to a building and realizes that he is attending a psychiatric therapy. In the treatment, WING expresses his grieves and humiliation for being sexually harassed by JOYCE. Meanwhile, TIN is touched and has the same feelings. The next day, TIN returns one hundred thousand dollars to WAI and makes WAI very angry. Therefore, TIN remembers the solution that Sir KU teaches him and says ‘I love you’ to WAI suddenly.

1x78 - Episode 78

June 7, 2000

WAI does not figure out the reason but punishes TIN to write the words a thousand times anyway. Then, WAI decides to trail WING directly. In the psychiatric therapy, WAI also speaks out her worries at heart. Afterwards, they tie their eyes and are told to embrace each other. Ironically, WAI and TIN find and hug each other, though they both screams when they untie their eyes. Besides, WAI is working hard to prepare the argument statement for the sexual harassment case. But when ALEX queries JOYCE on a sensitive question about underwear, JOYCE is hesitant to answer. Moreover, ALEX presents the underwear of JOYCE at court, which testifies that it is hand washed by WING. WAI is stunned then.

1x79 - Episode 79

June 8, 2000

WAI dissatisfies with the judgement of JOYCE’s case. She returns home and counts the quantities of her underwear. Strangely, there is one missing and TIN implies that it is just located under the sofa. WAI feels embarrass and scolds at TIN severely. TIN feels disappoint and attends the psychiatric therapy again. He shares his grieves with WING and seeks for his advice. Therefore, WING suggests him to fight back and takes TIN to visit the lingerie shop. On the next day, WAI is preparing for court in a hurry; meanwhile, TIN interrupts her and takes out a lady underwear, which looks like the one she is missing. Moreover, TIN asks WAI if someone steals her underwear. WAI is so angry and smashes at TIN harshly. In fact, WAI is inspired by TIN and finds out the key point of the case. She proves that WING has purchased the same style of underwear in order to frame JOYCE. Finally, WAI wins the appeal.… ...

However, Sir KU encourages them to embrace each other in order to release their anger. But they always argue in the office. At night, TIN looks like working very hard on the computer. Just when WAI feels a little content for his change of attitude, she discovers that TIN is actually busying at the connection of horseracing web-site for gambling.
