1x1 - Episode 1

LAW YIU-WAH teaches Chinese Language in a band 3 school called Qiqihar Association Lam Tin Kwong Memorial Secondary School. He believes that “human nature is evil” and therefore a teacher should control the student strictly while teaching them but the students do not appreciate his approach at all. Influenced by his grandfather LAW CHUN-BONG, YIU-WAH decided to be a policeman since childhood but his mother opposes the idea strongly for YIU-WAH’s soldier father was killed while carrying out his duty. YIU-WAH is a filial son and he gives up his aspiration eventually. The school bowling team of Lam Tin Kwong used to be very famous in Hong Kong but the team is no longer active. The school team is going to have a friendly match with their enemies from But Kau Yan School……

YIU-WAH decides to apply for a police job and CHUN-BONG gives him tactical training but YIU-WAH still fails to get the job. However, he later receives a phone call from an employment agency and realizes that the Senior Superintendent of Intelligence Bureau of the Police Force, POON KWOK-SHING, wants him to be an undercover teacher in Lam Tin Kwong Memorial Secondary School for investigation of a campus drug case. YIU-WAH doesn’t really like to return to the school but he accepts the offer eventually for he really wants to be a real policeman. In order to collect information from the students, YIU-WAH changes his teaching style completely and he tries to get close to K4 in every ways but K4 simply ignores him. HO MIU-SUET, an enthusiastic new teacher, comes to teach Physical Education and General Studies in the school……

Encouraged by MIU-SUET, TIN-YAN finally reveals that he brings “weapon” to school for self-protection only because K4 always bully him. MIU-SUET wants to help TIN-YAN but K4 have asked their parents to make complaint to the PTA and they even report the case to the police. The Police Superintendent eventually exercises discretion to issue a caution to TIN-YAN. MIU-SUET and YIU-WAH work together to help TIN-YAN and K4 finally stop fighting against TIN-YAN. Meanwhile, YIU-WAH suspects that KA-PO has been manipulated by the triad organization to offer Enko dating service and he starts chatting with her on the internet with a fake identity. His nosy cousin YIU-CHO accidentally discovers KA-PO’s contact and he dates her stealthily. This causes great trouble to YIU-WAH…

YIU-WAH is proved to be innocent and KA-PO is not connected with any triad organization. YIU-WAH doesn’t need to continue his investigation on KA-PO but he needs to counsel her instead. YIU-WAH and MIU-SUET invite KA-PO’s mother for a meeting. They realized that KA-PO is not having any financial difficulties and she practices Enko dating just to satisfy her material need. KA-PO wants to withdraw from her studies. MIU-SUET doesn’t want to give her up and she persuades her to return persistently. KA-PO eventually agrees to return. The new transfer student TSEUNG TSUN has conflict with K4 on his first day of school. CHAK-KEI and FAN TAI try to give him a hard time by beating him. NG KA-YEE informs YIU-WAH about the case secretly. TSEUNG TSUN invites K4 to a fight and YIU-WAH follows them. YIU-WAH is shocked to find that TSEUNG TSUN has brought a group of gangsters from the triad organization…

TSEUNG TSUN’s father TSEUNG HUNG is the former head of a triad organization. He comes to the school and the principal receives him anxiously. All staffs in the school worry that their students will be influenced by the triad organization but YIU-WAH seizes the chance to approach TSEUNG TSUN for collecting information. On the other hand, MIU-SUET discovers that all students are isolating TSEUNG TSUN so she invites him to the school basketball team, hoping that this would help him to develop a better relationship with other students. CHAK-KEI is upset that TSEUNG TSUN has stolen his credits in the team so he fights with him. Both of them are punished afterwards. While having a detention, TSEUNG TSUN receives a phone call from a friend asking for help and he rushes to the place immediately. He is in danger and TSEUNG HUNG arrives on time to save him……

YIU-WAH is rescued by the police CHING MAN-LIK and he helps to provide information in the police station. MAN-LIK’s boss says that he is the “rising star” of the police force. YIU-WAH also dreams about accomplishing his task and getting promoted in the police force… YIU-WAH visits TSEUNG TSUN in the hospital and TSEUNG TSUN thanks him for not telling his father that he has wet his pants during the accident. His relationship with YIU-WAH has improved a lot after this. TSEUNG HUNG organizes a Thank you dinner for YIU-WAH and he introduces his good friends to him. He also gives him a lot of VIP cards of various entertainment venues. CHUN-BONG discovers all those VIP cards and he worries that YIU-WAH will sleep around with bad women. He decides to introduce CHUI-CHUI to him but YIU-CHO pursues her in advance swiftly. YIU-WAH learns that CHUN-BONG forgets to bring the home key and he asks MIU-SUET to help……

CHUN-BONG is very grateful for MIU-SUET’s help and he invites her to dinner at home. MIU-SUET learns that both CHUN-BONG and YIU-WAH’s father used to work in the police force and she reveals to YIU-WAH that she actually admires the police a lot. YIU-WAH loves MIU-SUET secretly and he becomes more confident in pursuing her. YIU-WAH goes to a flower shop to buy flowers for MIU-SUET but KWOK-SHING comes to stop him. KWOK-SHING warns YIU-WAH that he should not date MIU-SUET since he is an undercover. In order to accomplish his task and pursue MIU-SUET as soon as possible, YIU-WAH invites TSEUNG HUNG to dinner and he tries to make him drunk. However, YIU-WAH is the one who gets drunk first and he starts to talk carelessly… The new School Liaison Officer from the police force comes to the school to meet the teachers. YIU-WAH discovers that the new officer is MAN-LIK. KA-PO is deeply upset after being dumped by the Windsor boy MAN-TIK……

While having hot pot together, TSEUNG HUNG reveals to YIU-WAH that there are a lot of resentments and misunderstandings between him and MAN-LIK’s boss in the past. MIU-SUET discovers that KA-PO improves a lot in her studies and she sends her a pair of bowling gloves but KA-PO sighs that she has no chance to use it. Reminded by YIU-WAH, MIU-SUET proposes reorganizing the school bowling team during the school meeting as a way to improve and enhance the team spirits of all students. With the help of YIU-WAH, TSEUNG HUNG joins PTA and he donates 50 thousand dollars to the school bowling team. Recommended by MAN-LIK, MIU-SUET and YIU-WAH go to the bowling alley to meet the bowling coach KOO KA-LAM. All students find KA-LAM strange and they doubt if she is really capable to teach them……

CHAK-KEI collapses during PE lesson and MIU-SUET reveals his physical conditions to YIU-WAH. YIU-WAH knows what is happening to CHAK-KEI but he tries not to say it. During a meeting with the principal, MAN-LIK requests the school to cooperate with him in fighting against drug abuse on campus instead of letting some teachers to investigate the case by themselves. MIU-SUET reveals that YIU-WAH might be investigating the case by himself. CHAK-KEI becomes dazed and confused after taking drugs and he stands on the edge of the rooftop dangerously. YIU-WAH rescues him tactfully but his head is injured while entangling with CHAK-KEI. The police discover some drugs in a snooker room and all staffs are arrested for questioning. The new leader of Tsun Hing Gang, SAI-LUNG, comes to the police station with his lawyer and he starts a quarrel with MAN-LIK. Lam Tin Kwong Memorial Secondary School is having a bowling match again with But Kau Yan School……

Invited by NIN-FAT, KA-LAM goes to MIU-SUET’s home for dinner and MIU-SUET realizes that KA-LAM is actually a friendly person despite her cold mask. TSEUNG HUNG suffers from stomachache and YIU-WAH sends him home. They discover that TSEUNG HUNG’s good friend CHUNG-HOU is stealing his valuables. During their bowling lesson, YIU-WAH stops 2 young guys from stealing things and this impresses KA-LAM a lot. On the next day, YIU-WAH is being attacked after school… YIU-CHO learns that YIU-WAH is making friend with a rich man and he gets to know TSEUNG HUNG from YIU-WAH eventually. YIU-CHO persuades TSEUNG HUNG to buy a large quantity of computers for Lam Tin Kwong School but all computers are not working on the first day. YIU-WAH is upset that YIU-CHO doesn’t want to make any compensation. He decides to replace all the computers by himself without letting TSEUNG HUNG knows.

KA-LAM celebrates her birthday with family members but she is very upset to see her brother-in-law NGAI FUNG so she leaves the place with excuse. She then receives a call from YIU-WAH for YIU-WAH wants to borrow some computer software from her. KA-LAM is going out so YIU-WAH drives her to Kowloon City. They end up having dinner together. CHEUNG HAU-MING from 5A class sneaks into the school at night and he is discovered. HAU-MING reveals that he comes to steal some exam papers and MIU-SUET tries to speak for him. YIU-WAH believes that HAU-MING is not telling the truth and this annoys MIU-SUET. MAN-LIK learns about the case and he wants to meet HAU-MING. MIU-SUET calls HAU-MING and she discovers that he is crying in the park. MIU-SUET discovers the truth and she tells YIU-WAH immediately. YIU-WAH assures MIU-SUET that he will not report the case to the police……

CHUN-BONG meets MIU-SUET and her family members while visiting the Chinese doctor. He invites MIU-SUET to watch movie on behalf of YIU-WAH. On the next day, MIU-SUET’s family members leave her home deliberately so that she could wait for YIU-WAH’s call but YIU-WAH coughs seriously on the phone… TSEUNG TSUN reveals that an undercover is working in the school and KA-YEE passes the news to YIU-WAH. TSEUNG HUNG asks YIU-WAH out and he blames YIU-WAH for lying to him. YIU-WAH reveals the information he got from TSEUNG HUNG to KWOK-SHING. KWOK-SHING tells YIU-WAH that KA-LAM’s brother-in-law NGAI FUNG is the head of Tsun Hing Gang. YIU-WAH is caught in a traffic accident while driving KA-LAM home and KA-LAM’s neck is injured. YIU-WAH sends her to the hospital and KA-LAM’s family members find that YIU-WAH is taking good care of her……

KA-LAM suddenly resigns. MIU-SUET and YIU-WAH persuade her to stay but KA-LAM insists to go. After talking with the hot pot restaurant’s owner, MAN-LIK discovers KA-LAM’s background. The chairman of PTA calls for a meeting to discuss if they should fire KA-LAM. MIU-SUET cannot bear to question MAN-LIK and she tries to speak for KA-LAM but nobody listens. YIU-WAH tries to support her… In order to support the bowling team, YIU-WAH pays for the bowling alley rental by himself. KA-PO and other team members meet their competitors from Cobert College in the bowling alley and they start a quarrel with each other. During the inter-school bowling contest, FAN TAI is not performing well and KA-LAM scolds him during the break. HO-CHEUNG from Cobert College is making mistakes all the time and Lam Tin Kwong’s bowling team finally enters the semi-final.

YIU-WAH reveals to KWOK-SHING that KA-SIN wants him to pursue KA-LAM and KWOK-SHING supports the idea. YIU-WAH reveals his love to KA-LAM but she rejects him right away. KA-SIN goes shopping with YIU-WAH in the record store and she reveals KA-LAM’s interests to him. YIU-WAH continues pursuing KA-LAM persistently and KA-LAM says that she will only accept him if he could get 200 marks in one bowling game. YIU-WAH starts an intensive training with a professional trainer arranged by KWOK-SHING but his performance is still average. However, his determination and sincerity have dissolved KA-LAM and she eventually agrees to be his girlfriend. MAN-LIK goes to her elder sister’s home for dinner. He is actually HO-CHEUNG’s uncle. TSEUNG TSUN goes to his ex-classmate’s party and he starts a verbal fight with HO-CHEUNG. YIU-WAH and MIU-SUET learn that HO-CHEUNG is sent to the hospital after being injured by TSEUNG TSUN……

TSEUNG TSUN reveals to both the police and his father that he did not hurt HO-CHEUNG. MAN-LIK says that TSEUNG TSUN’s record is not good so he must be telling lies. MIU-SUET is upset for MAN-LIK has biased opinion on TSEUNG TSUN. MIU-SUET checks with another participant of the party and she discovers something about HO-CHEUNG… YIU-WAH makes chance to dine with KA-LAM and KA-SIN. He even suggests dining with NGAI FUNG later and this irritates KA-LAM. YIU-WAH wants KA-LAM to accept NGAI FUNG. KA-LAM is very upset and she starts a cold war with him. YIU-WAH waits for many days until he finally receives a call from KA-LAM but she is actually calling her doctor for she is ill. YIU-WAH reconciles with KA-LAM and KA-LAM agrees to dine with her family members on Dragon Boat Festival. NGAI FUNG sends KA-SIN a necklace and this reminds her of all the sweet memories they have gone through together.

MAN-LIK wants to organize a large-scale inter-school event to spread anti-drug message among the youngsters but teachers from Band 1 and Band 2 schools refuse to collaborate with Band 3 schools. MIU-SUET suggests using the Internet for promotion and she asks K4 to help making a website. YIU-WAH brings KA-SIN and KA-LAM to a dessert shop. This reminds the sisters of their childhood. With the help of KA-SIN, CHUN-BONG receives treatment from a famous Chinese doctor. KA-SIN also helps to move the bone ashes of YIU-WAH’s mother back to the city area and YIU-WAH feels uneasy for her kindness. The anti-drug website is very popular and MAN-LIK is very grateful to everybody. MIU-SUET and MAN-LIK invites the students to BBQ as a celebration. MAN-LIK returns home to find that MICHELLE has moved her belongings to his place for she wants to stay there temporarily. He is very upset and breaks up with her. YIU-WAH discovers that they have broken up……

MAN-LIK invites MIU-SUET to watch opera but MIU-SUET rejects him gently. MICHELLE suspects that MAN-LIK is dating MIU-SUET so she goes to their office to make a mess. She even slaps MAN-LIK on his face. YIU-WAH invites KA-LAM and her family members for dinner but SAU-LAN humiliates him. KA-SIN offers chance for YIU-WAH to earn money through speculation in the property market. YIU-WAH rejects her but he reveals that he would like to be a successful businessman just like NGAI FUNG. YIU-WAH tells KA-LAM that he wants to work for NGAI FUNG. KA-LAM is totally shocked and she starts a cold war with him. The police discover that FAN TAI and his classmates are practicing soccer gambling. FAN TAI insists that he is only making bet privately instead of practising illegal soccer gambling……

MAN-LIKE is suspended from his duty and the Crime Unit carries out investigation on him. FAN TAI is enraged for KA-YEE is making up negative stories on MAN-LIK so he tries to beat him. From this incident, YIU-WAH and MIU-SUET realize that MAN-LIK is in trouble. MAN-LIK calls MIU-SUET at night when she is about to sleep but she still agrees to go out and eat hotpot with him. TSEUNG HUNG voluntarily offers help to MAN-LIK and he invites a famous lawyer to meet up with them. When they depart, they meet NGAI FUNG and his subordinates in the restaurant. FAN TAI receives a letter from his cousin and there is a memory card containing important evidence to prove that MAN-LIK is innocent but this memory card has fallen into YIU-WAH’s hand. MAN-LIK resumes his post eventually. FAN TAI and MIU-SUET celebrates with him happily. YIU-WAH is very jealous to find that MAN-LIK and MIU-SUET are getting closer and closer……

YIU-WAH goes to have dinner with KA-LAM but he meets MAN-LIK and MIU-SUET there. He cannot bear to tease them continuously. The restaurant is suddenly on fire and YIU-WAH tries to come forward to help but MAN-LIK is the one who gets all the credits. MIU-SUET’s ex-boyfriend CHUN-CHUNG borrows money from her and he even wants her to repay all the debts for him. YIU-WAH mentions the case to KA-SIN casually. A few days later, CHUN-CHUNG calls MIU-SUET to apologize. YIU-WAH and KA-LAM go to NGAI FUNG’s home for dinner again. YIU-WAH tries to ask if NGAI FUNG has done anything to help MIU-SUET. MIU-SUET asks MAN-LIK out for she wants to reject his love. MAN-LIK is heart-broken. He rejects to study abroad for free but he accepts his boss’ counter offer to work in the Regional Crime Unit. The students come to say goodbye to MAN-LIK sadly.

YIU-WAH and KA-LAM meets MIU-SUET again in the cinema. MIU-SUET reveals that MAN-LIK is only her friend and YIU-WAH is overjoyed. MAN-LIK is leading a special team to fight against Tsun Hing Gang and he asks his subordinates to pay attention to all the people around NGAI FUNG. NGAI FUNG decides to set up a school in mainland China to improve his company’s image. KA-SIN invites YIU-WAH to help and YIU-WAH accepts the offer immediately for he wants to get close to NGAI FUNG. YIU-WAH reveals his plan to KA-LAM and he is surprised that KA-LAM supports him. With the help of his informer, MAN-LIK launches a raid against Tsun Hing’s drug storehouse successfully. NGAI FUNG discovers that half of the drugs in the storehouse are missing and he asks his subordinates to chase after the storehouse keeper EYEWEAR FU but the police rescue FU on time. PAK-CHUEN says that he is moving away so he wants to discontinue schooling……

YIU-WAH and MIU-SUET are invited to a dinner at PAK-CHUEN’s home. CHUEN’s drunken father reveals that YIU-WAH and MIU-SUET look like lovers. This makes them really embarrassed. YIU-WAH loses a brown envelope containing his undercover working notes and he is very nervous. CHUEN’s father picks up the envelope by chance and he asks MIU-SUET to return it to the owner. Trying to find the owner, MIU-SUET opens the envelope and she realizes that YIU-WAH is an undercover and he loves her secretly. KWOK-SHING has no choice but to reveal the truth to MIU-SUET. He asks her to sign a confidentiality agreement while ensuring that she will maintain a working relationship with YIU-WAH. YIU-WAH thanks MIU-SUET for her help and he seizes the chance to reveal his love to her but MIU-SUET ignores it. YIU-WAH and KA-SIN go to Qingyuan to inspect the site for constructing a school. In the evening, YIU-WAH visits NGAI FUNG with peanuts and beer……

MAN-LIK learns that Tsun Hing Gang and a Mexican Gang will meet up in Qingyuan. He asks his subordinates to monitor YIU-WAH and KA-LAM closely. YIU-WAH learns that MIU-SUET is taking leave for one week and she is planning to travel. He worries that MIU-SUET is trying to hide away from him but later he realizes that MIU-SUET’s younger brother has got a traffic accident in Latvia. In order to help MIU-SUET buying an urgent ticket to Germany, YIU-WAH seeks help from KWOK-SHING. MIU-SUET brings her brother back for medical treatment successfully. Realizing that YIU-WAH is so caring to her, MIU-SUET cannot help to reveal her true feelings to him as well and the two starts dating each other secretly. While following YIU-WAH, MAN-LIK and his subordinates discover that YIU-WAH is dating MIU-SUET secretly. Somebody is trying to give KA-LAM a better offer. MIU-SUET and YIU-WAH ask KA-LAM out to learn the details……

YIU-WAH tells MIU-SUET that KA-LAM will be leaving Hong Kong on Sunday so he dates MIU-SUET to Cheung Chau. However, KA-LAM suddenly appears and YIU-WAH doesn’t know what to do… KA-LAM learns that MIU-SUET has gone to Cheung Chau as well and she finds it strange. MIU-SUET reveals to YIU-WAH that she cannot tolerate the secret relationship anymore. At that moment, YIU-WAH suddenly receives a call from KA-LAM. A moment later, MIU-SUET receives a call as well but the caller doesn’t speak a word… KA-LAM tells KA-SIN that YIU-WAH is dating another woman. KA-SIN asks YIU-WAH out and YIU-WAH reveals that he has broken up with MIU-SUET already. He asks KA-SIN to help getting KA-LAM back. KA-SIN reveals the case to her husband and NGAI FUNG wants to give YIU-WAH a lesson. KA-SIN informs KA-LAM immediately and they rush to YIU-WAH’s place. YIU-WAH has been beaten up by NGAI FUNG and he is seriously injured…

YIU-WAH learns that MIU-SUET has resigned and he apologizes to her regretfully. MIU-SUET returns home to find MAN-LIK there but she refuses to listen to him. The chairman of PTA requests the principal to fire MIU-SUET as soon as possible but TSEUNG HUNG objects the idea. KA-LAM asks MIU-SUET out. She reveals that she wants to work together with her and hopes that she could stay. YIU-WAH drinks with NGAI FUNG in his house. YIU-WAH is drunk and NGAI FUNG goes to his room for a business call. YIU-WAH is pretending to be drunk actually and he tries listening to the conversation outside but NGAI FUNG discovers him. NGAI FUNG allows YIU-WAH to leave but YIU-WAH is captured by some gangsters on his way home… The gangsters ask YIU-WAH to reveal the details of NGAI FUNG’s transaction but YIU-WAH refuses to tell anything. MAN-LIK’s team has been following YIU-WAH and they breaks in to arrest everybody inside the room……

NGAI FUNG is very drunk and YIU-WAH sends him home. While looking for a towel, YIU-WAH finds NGAI FUNG sleeping on his computer desk and the computer screen is showing a big list of data. All these data are evidence of crime… YIU-WAH visits NGAI FUNG again and he deliberately breaks the computer keyboard. After careful analysis, KWOK-SHING concludes three possible passwords of NGAI FUNG’s computer. YIU-WAH deliberately starts a quarrel with KA-LAM and KA-SIN leaves home to meet KA-LAM.NGAI FUNG watches TV alone at home and the drunken YIU-WAH suddenly arrives. YIU-WAH sneaks into NGAI FUNG’s room and switches on his computer… MAN-LIK learns that a large quantity of drugs has arrived South-East Asia. He finds out the transaction date and arrests SAI-LUNG successfully. CHIT-SHUN reports to NGAI FUNG that the Mexican Gang is very angry for the police have discovered their plan and they want an explanation from NGAI FUNG.

A foreign bodyguard captures YIU-WAH. KA-SIN asks the Mexican Gang’s representative MELVIN to release him but MELVIN requests KA-SIN to compensate for their loss and he even points a gun towards her. KA-SIN and YIU-WAH finally return safely. KA-SIN wants YIU-WAH to help managing her husband’s gang affairs. In order to ensure that YIU-WAH will not disclose their secret to others, KA-SIN suggests to her husband that they should ask YIU-WAH to marry KA-LAM as quickly as possible. All students and teachers are talking about the marriage between YIU-WAH and KA-LAM. MIU-SUET cannot bear to ask YIU-WAH out and she blames him for hurting KA-LAM. MAN-LIK’s boss recommends him to take the promotion qualifying examination and MAN-LIK tries to share this good news with MIU-SUET cheerfully. As YIU-WAH is getting married soon, MAN-LIK reveals to MIU-SUET that he still wants to pursue her……

YIU-WAH finally accomplishes his task and resumes his policeman position. His grandfather asks him to report his success to his deceased parents in front of their graves. On the next day, YIU-WAH goes to the school to apologize to the principal for the troubles he caused. After his last lesson with all students, YIU-WAH meets MIU-SUET again and they find it embarrassing. During the hearing at the court, YIU-WAH comes out to provide evidence but the defense lawyer says that his undercover report is self-contradictory. NGAI FUNG is unexpectedly released but the operation of Tsun Hing Gang is seriously affected. MIU-SUET meets up with KA-LAM to give her a cheque and she realizes that KA-LAM is in deep pain.

YIU-WAH returns to the police force and he starts working in the Uniform Branch. MAN-LIK requests to cancel his holidays but his boss WONG Sir reveals that after the injury he is no longer suitable for holding gun. WONG Sir suggests MAN-LIK to do administrative works instead. MIU-SUET meets TSEUNG HUNG. TSEUNG HUNG feels sorry for MAN-LIK’s injury and he also says that YIU-WAH is having a very difficult time as well. During the school meeting, the principal reveals that the school management committee has been unsatisfied that the school fails to be recognized as band 2 school after all these years. They are downhearted and want to close the school especially after the undercover teacher’s incident. In order to meet the school management committee’s requirement, all students study hard and YIU-WAH comes back to offer help as well. NGAI FUNG reveals to KA-LAM that he will have good news for her. KA-LAM is worried and she calls YIU-WAH……

YIU-WAH, MIU-SUET and the students escape eventually. NGAI FUNG’s plan fails and he resorts to alcohol. He is drunk eventually and he meets a group of youngsters who have taken drugs on the street. The youngsters beat him fiercely and he is seriously injured. The school manager reveals that even though the students’ examination results have met their requirement, the school bowling team still needs to win an upcoming match in order to save the school. MIU-SUET tries to cheer up the bowling team and MAN-LIK comes to encourage the students with his own experience after the injury. During the critical moment of the match, KA-LAM suddenly arrives. Will the bowling team win? YIU-WAH and MIU-SUET meet up in the farmland they rented together before for they want to stop renting it. What will happen to them?
