In an orphanage, Mongo meets a prostitute Marusei, the mother of one of the children. He tells how he came to God, and advises Marusa not to despair either. Okhotnikov comes to Alexander and asks him not to punish Elizabeth. Alexander decides to recognize Elizabeth's child as his own and does not give her a divorce. Julia is amazed by the news of the Empress's pregnancy.

1x78 - Episode 78

During the discussion of the ceremonial meeting of the Persians, Peter enters and reports on the pogroms in St. Petersburg. Alexander does not know how to resolve this situation, Cherkasov proposes to create a secret detective department.
