6x1 - Swedish Fallow
Southern Sweden is home to strong populations of fallow deer, and with excellent game management bucks grow old and can possess huge antlers. As the rut approaches, Rob joins local Erik Jeppson to stalk the beautiful forest to try and locate a dominant buck.
6x2 - Sambar Rafting
Hunting Sambar on public land in Victoria provides so many amazing opportunities, and in this episode Rob teams up with some of his mates from his local Westernport ADA branch and together they try something completely new and embark on an awesome adventure, rafting into some remote Victorian Sambar country.
6x3 - Sambar Rafting Part 2
The rafting hunt is off to a great start, managing the gear and navigating the river is a challenge, but all is going well, however the difficulty factor increases when the river starts to narrow and the flows strengthen with a change in the weather. The country is dry and animals scarcer than predicted, but the guys are loving every minute of it, and they soon start to track down the deer.
6x4 - Bourke Goats
Rob has been hunting goats for years, and the lure of big billies never gets old, but a big billy in the magic 40” range has always managed to escape him. For this trip Rob joins Mike Cleary from NSW, another keen goat hunter and together they head way out west to explore the plains back of Bourke, chasing monster billies. Mike is also part of team building a new abattoir in Bourke for the processing of wild goats, and he gives us some fascinating insights into their new venture that will be a win for local farmer’s and bring a welcome boost to employment for the region.
6x5 - Swedish Small Game & Hare Hunting on the Ilse of Ven
Rob Joins with a team of journalists from around the world to take part in an introduction and training session on the revolutionary new shotgun sight from Aimpoint, then head off for an action packed series of hunts on small game including pheasants ducks & hares. The crew then departs for the ferry terminal and travel across to the Island of Ven, where they join in with the locals for a very exciting driven hunt targeting the islands abundant population of hares.
6x6 - QLD Rusa
Clark McGhie is synonymous with Australian deer hunting and has been a familiar face on BTD since series 1. He also possesses an intimate knowledge of Rusa deer and their habits having hunted and guided on them for decades. Rob joins Clark on his home turf in the Brisbane Valley pursuing Rusa stags as the roar draws to an end.
6x7 - QLD Rusa Part 2
The Rusa hunt was off to a flying start and as usual back in camp, Jude’s camp oven cooking has been absolutely 5 star, serving up some amazing treats. The search for a genuine trophy goes on, and while the stags are still roaring late, finding the old boys is proving a real challenge.

6x9 - Bourke Pigs
Western NSW is currently experiencing some of its harshest drought conditions ever, and with so much farming land under huge pressure from grazing stock, it’s never been a more crucial time to manage ferals. Rob heads right out west where there still some groundwater and together with Mike Cleary, they have a ball getting stuck into the pig population that are wreaking havoc on the much needed cattle feed.
6x10 - Whistling Foxes
Summer in Australia can get pretty damn hot, but that doesn’t mean a stop to the hunting. The warmer months are a fantastic time to whistle foxes, and two experienced fox hunters that really know their stuff are Steve and Leigh, from Bolt action productions. Rob joins them in North East Vic during a break in the summer heat, and they hit the hills for some good times and solid session on the whistle.
