The townsfolk decide to pursue the truck on a "finders keepers" policy, and during the great chase Frank becomes lost. Now Dale faces the challenge of winning back Frank's trust by venturing out into an oncoming snow storm to rescue him.

While trying to buy a gift for the begrudged annual Secret Santa ritual, Dale stumbles upon none other than Santa (played by Leslie Nielsen) himself. Santa decides he needs a break and decides to hang with Dale only to become lazy and unmotivated. With the prospects of Christmas actually happening rapidly diminishing, Santa realizes the error of his ways and with Frank and Dale's help tries to salvage Christmas.

Dale and Frank travel to Ottawa to get support for a petition to allow street hockey on all streets in Canada, but they find out that Chilly Beach is not actually part of Canada. So, they decide to make Chilly Beach its own country.
