At the beginning of 1920, the world is full of optimism after the end of the First World War. The young crown prince also enjoys life and not least the work in the navy. But when the king is hospitalized after a violent riding accident, the crown prince is appointed as ruling deputy during one of the most critical moments of the war, much against his father's wishes.
