Actually, WAH already discovered YIU's fault in stealing company's money but kept silent and used it to force YIU to support him in the company. Since TONG failed to get marry with WAH, she tried to approach his father instead but he just gave her some money for compensation for her dismissal, this made her very angry and was determined to take revenge in future.

Our main character WAH, the son of a rich merchant, returned to Hong Kong after travelling Europe with a movie star PING. Their photos had been used as a front page of a magazine which aroused the jealousy of his girlfriend FUNG, a beautiful and famous model. FUNG felt angry with WAH and left for Macau with her close friend LING. SHING, a young photographer Met FUNG on his way to Macau and was totally attracted by the beauty of FUNG. He admired her so much and took pictures of her secretly.

FUNG was quite angry when she found that SHING had took photos of her secretly, as she thought that he was working for a magazine that used to expose her private life to readers. Without giving any warning to SHING, she deliberately broke SHING's camera. However, she felt sorry immediately when she discovered that SHING was not working for the magazine but was just an amateur photographer. In order to compensate her mistake, she volunteered to act as a model for SHING, and they later enjoyed their trip together. But their accompany was seen by SZE, a magazine editor who prepared to use it as a story line to attract readers. After coming back to Hong Kong, WAH employed a new private nurse TONG to take care of his father. Shortly after TONG worked for this job, she was attracted by WAH's wealth and handsome appearance.

Upon returning to Hong Kong, FUNG did not prepare to continue her friendship with SHING. on the other hand, SHING found himself already in love with FUNG and tried whatever possible way to meet her again. WAH understood that TONG loved him only for his wealth, so he did not really involved too much with her, and just treated her as one of his love mates. WAH has a younger brother YIU who was always jealous of WAH as his father apparently loved and depended on him more. Hence, he told FUNG the love affair between WAH and TONG so as to make FUNG keep on angry with WAH.

SZE has developed the photos of FUNG and SHING that were taken in Macau and tried to blackmail WAH but was rejected bluntly as WAH had already arranged to stop the distribution of SZE's magazine. However, some copies had been read by LAN (SHING"s sister) who strongly disapproved his love affair, and persuaded SHING not to meet her again. Still, SHING tried all his best to search FUNG's address and visited her home. But it was incidentally met by IVAH which created even more misunderstanding between them.

FUNG and LING intended to run a modeling centre and invited SHING to cooperate with them as a photographer. Despite LAN's objection, SHING joined the centre so that he could meet FUNG frequently. Meanwhile, he was most irritated by LAU (FUNG's younger sister) who hoped to take away her sister's boyfriend deliberately.

YIU had used the company's money personally and feared that it would be discovered by WAH. In order to cover this amount of money, he planned a smuggling trip to Taiwan with his friend PING who was subsequently caught by the Police. TONG's purpose to stay with WAH is infect to get benefit from him. She tried to claim that she had carried WAH's baby in order to force him to marry her. WAH did not believe in her and refused her request.

WAH felt lonely after he dismissed TONG and stayed with FUND again. FUNG was very disappointed on WAH and not much enthusiastic about his return. But her mother was greedy at WAH's wealth and helped him to get rid of SHING so that he could approach FUNG again. Furthermore, LAU also paid her greatest effort to discourage SHING's love for FUNG so that she could have the love of SHING herself.

Yet, LAU failed in getting the love from SHING though she tried hard to please him. Thus she pretended to commit suicide one day so as to let FUNG and SHING understand that she was really in love with SHING. In order to persuade FUNG to stay with WAH again, her sister and mother set a plot to cheat SHING and this made him believe that he was being used by FUNG to stimulate WAH only when they were separated. He was so disappointed and was determined to leave for Japan to study.

After SHING went to Japan, WAH quickly got the approval of FLING and they got married immediately. MEI (YIU's wife) worried that their marriage would just strengthen their power in the family. By then YIU would be further controlled by WAH. She therefore warned FUNG seriously that their marriage would not be happy.

SHING was really desperate when he knew that FUNG had married WAH and gone to honeymoon in the States. He therefore withdrew his share from FIJNG's modeling centre and worked in SZE's magazine as a reporter. Shortly after their marriage, FUNG found it difficult to be accepted by other members of WAH's family as DEI and YIU were always making troubles for her.

LAU became more and more liberal which made FUNG worry so much about her. She tried to teach her to protect herself from being cheated but was in vain. LING kept on running the modeling centre and prepared to organize a fashion show. After marriage, FUNG felt lonely at home thus she volunteered to help LING in the show, but the affair was much disapproved by WAH's father.

September 16, 1981
WAH suspected that FUNG was still in love with SHING and began to take revenge by deserting FUNG, as a kind of punishment. SHING was awarded that his existence would influence the family life of FUNG thus he avoided meeting FLING again. On the other hand, his sister, LAN, fell in love with her workmate Q-IEUNG but was frustrated when she knew that CHEUNG had already been married in China.

One day, SHING was fought when he was walking with LAN. FLING suspected that it was WAH's idea and argued with him which made them unable to stay together again. TONG was always looking for opportunity to take revenge. She tried to use LAU to seduce WAH in order to break marriage with FUNG.

As SHING objected to continue running the modeling centre, FLING had reluctantly to cease its operation. She then worked as a PR executive in a commercial firm while SHING was employed as a graphic designer in an advertising agency. However, their life seem not as happy as they expected as they gradually realized that their characters and personalities were not matched at all. Furthermore, TONG had not stopped her revenge to FUNG and kept on irritating her even though she succeeded in getting WAH back.

Therefore SHING suggested to marry FUNG instead of just staying together and insisted FUNG to arrange divorce with WAH. But WAH agreed to divorce only if the arrangement was made in the States because he has to protect the fame of his family. SHING suspected that FUNG and WAH would change their mind when they went to U.S. So he planned to follow them secretly but was seen by WAH who fought him at the airport. WAH was seriously injured and the trip was cancelled.

Their plan to divorce had been cancelled because of the appearance of SHING.FUNG felt so upset as she realized that SHING had not any confidence on her. The failure of YIU in smuggling had aroused the investigation of the policemen. In order to keep the secret, YIU had to send his staffs overseas but he was no longer be able to borrow money from the company since the last event. Eventually, LAN realized that she was used and controlled by TONG as a weapon to hurt FUNG. She felt a shame on what she had done to her sister thus apologized to FUNG and concentrated on her study again. All arrangements for her divorce had been settled, FUNG learned a lesson and prepared not to marry again, even to SHING. YIU planned to kidnap WAH by using SHING's car because SHTNG would be the most possible person to kill WAH.

September 25, 1981
YIU succeeded in kidnapping WAH and blackmailing his own father. Meanwhile, he convinced his father not to report this case to the police. After collecting ransom money from his family, he pretended to rescue his brother. How- ever, WAH recognized it was YIU's plan to cheat the ransom money but refused to tell the truth to the policemen. Instead, he wanted to use this opportunity to accuse SHING as he was most suspected. SHING was arrested. Knowing that SHING was innocent, FUNG stepped out and agreed to compromise with. WAH at any cost so as to save SHING from being charged.
