But the situation gets complicated when Valeria finds compromising photos of Nora in the robber's house.

Acquitted in cassation, the man has just been released from prison, escaping a nine-year prison sentence for being involved in an accident in his factory. A robbery at an armored car goes badly. Two of the three robbers, Carmine and Rocco, lose their lives, the third accomplice, Cesare Mastrangeli, flees with the loot. Miranda, wife of the fugitive robber, is found dead in her apartment that same morning. Inspector Valeria Ferro's suspicions are all for the wife of one of the two villains who died but only the arrest of the fugitive can clarify the situation.
