Giancarlo, chef of a starred restaurant, is found dead in the cold room. The criminal event risks tarnishing the restaurant's fame, but Valeria soon realizes that the kitchen hides many secrets.

But the situation gets complicated when Valeria finds compromising photos of Nora in the robber's house.

A robbery at an armored car goes badly. Two of the three robbers, Carmine and Rocco, lose their lives, the third accomplice, Cesare Mastrangeli, flees with the loot. Miranda, wife of the fugitive robber, is found dead in her apartment that same morning. Inspector Valeria Ferro's suspicions are all for the wife of one of the two villains who died but only the arrest of the fugitive can clarify the situation.
