Hugo enters the boardroom and upon seeing Betty is terrified, but when he learns of his appointment as president, he wants to resign. Freddy enters the disco and sees Aura Maria dancing with a guy. Armando enters the disco and asks Betty to talk, but she tries to leave; however, she feels pressured, and they talk. He tells her that he loves her.

Michel proposes Betty to go to Cartagena to manage a chain of restaurants that he is going to set up. Armando enters the presidency and takes the picture of Betty and the Frenchman out of her wallet, and also takes out the newspaper and reads excerpts from the beginning where Betty admired and loved him in silence. Betty enters and introduces him to Michel.
