Hugo enters the boardroom and upon seeing Betty is terrified, but when he learns of his appointment as president, he wants to resign. Roberto calms everyone down and introduces Hermes as the company's new accountant. Armando and Mario hand over the position to Betty. Gutiérrez announces Betty's appointment to the employees.

Armando enters the presidency and takes the picture of Betty and the Frenchman out of her wallet, and also takes out the newspaper and reads excerpts from the beginning where Betty admired and loved him in silence. Betty enters and introduces him to Michel.
